The White Lotus star Alexandra Daddario had quite the scare over the weekend, leading to an arrest and criminal charges for an unwelcome visitor. Per the L.A. Times, Los Angeles police responded to a 911 call placed from Daddario’s home on Saturday morning. Reportedly, a man was shouting something about Daddario from outside the home and refused to leave the premises, even when the police arrived.

Police would not confirm what the man allegedly was shouting about Daddario, and it’s unclear if it was the actress or someone else who made the 911 call. What police have divulged is that an arrest was made as a result of the complaint. Responding officers located a loaded handgun in the man’s car and charged him with carrying a concealed weapon. They also identified the suspect as David Adam Cako, a 24-year-old man from Woodland Park, Colorado. His bail has been set at $35,000.

It’s not known if Daddario and her fiancé, producer Andrew Form, were home at the time of the incident. The actress announced their engagement in December to her Instagram’s 21.7 million followers. Professionally, Daddario is also coming off of the success of the HBO series The White Lotus, and is also known for a slew of other film and TV roles. Because police have not commented on what Cako was allegedly shouting, it remains unclear why exactly he went to Daddario’s home. As of now, Cako is sitting behind bars.

Alexandra Daddario Is Still Recognized for Percy Jackson, But Isn’t Involved With the Reboot

Alexandra Daddario’s breakthrough role was as Annabeth Chase in the Percy Jackson film series. It was recently announced that that franchise will be rebooted at Disney+, though Daddario has already said she isn’t involved with that project. She has wished those involved well.

“I am so excited for the kids that are going to be cast in that and how they’ll inspire a new generation of young women,” she told The Wrap. “Like it’s so cool, Annabeth is a really inspiring character to people. But no, I don’t know anything about it beyond that, and I shouldn’t! I was just the girl in the movie.”

On working on the films, she added, “No! No, I loved Percy Jackson. Like, I loved it. When I stepped into Percy Jackson and got that job, I had no idea what it was. I was like, a bit part actor in New York City, you know? I was a kid, I was working at a bar, I didn’t have any idea of Hollywood or of all this stuff.”

In 2021, Daddario took on one of her most acclaimed roles as a star of HBO’s The White Lotus. Created by Mike White, the series follows the staff and guests at a Hawaiian tropical resort. Daddario was praised for her performance with the series earning critical acclaim and high viewership, prompting a renewal that will introduce a new cast of characters. You can watch the six-episode series on HBO Max.
