The new season of Animaniacs has finally almost arrived, and a new trailer provides a sneak peek at what’s in store. It’s been a bit of a wait for the new episodes, as season 2 wrapped up its run in late 2021. With more than a year passing, the new season is set to arrive on Feb. 17. While fans may be happy to get new episodes, the trailer also confirms that Animaniacs will conclude with this third and final season on Hulu. But the Warners look to be going out with a bang, with the teaser showcasing no shortage of the totally insany hijinx that the series has long been known for. Of course, Pinky and the Brain will be there as well for their last attempts at finally conquering the world.

Hulu’s official description of the final season reads:

The Animaniacs revival brought back the same starring voice cast from the original series. This includes Rob Paulsen (Yakko Warner, Pinky, Dr. Scratchansniff), Jess Harnell (Wakko Warner), Tress MacNeille (Dot Warner), Maurice LaMarche (The Brain), and Frank Welker (Ralph T. Guard, Chicken Boo).

But all good things must come to an end, and that means another ending for Animaniacs. It was reported in December that the upcoming third season would also serve as the last for the reboot. It was also revealed that certain characters would be returning while fans will also be introduced to others who have been resurrected from the cutting room floor.

“Yakko, Wakko and Dot return for an all-new season of this iconic, family-friendly series with something for everyone: pop culture parodies, musical showstoppers, takedowns of historical baddies and even some important safety tips,” Hulu’s press release about season 3 states. “Join the Warners and Pinky and the Brain as they wreak havoc everywhere they go, from the Warner Bros. lot to an international beauty pageant, even all the way into outer space. Keep an eye out for season one favorites Starbox and Cindy, as well as some rejected Animaniacs characters that were left on the cutting room floor.”

Animaniacs will premiere its third and final season on Hulu on Feb. 17, 2023. The previous two seasons of the revival series are streaming now.
