Following the release of the exciting new trailer, a pair of new posters for the upcoming Marvel outing, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, tease the epic scale of the MCU sequel as Scott Lang finds himself once again trapped in the mysterious Quantum Realm. But, unlike last time, Scott will not be alone, as his entire extended family, including daughter Cassie, are dragged into the madness of quantumania with him. Coming courtesy of Twitter, you can check out the new posters for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania below.

The first poster puts Ant-Man and The Wasp at the center of the action. Surrounded by the orange and blue of the Quantum Realm, as well as an assortment of armed soldiers, the poster finds Jonathan Majors’ villain, Kang the Conqueror looming over proceedings in the top left corner. Not unlike Thanos the Mad Titan did all those years ago on the promos for Avengers: Endgame. Could this be a sign of the threat that Kang poses? Yes, probably.

The second poster meanwhile goes for a more unique approach to the world of the MCU, imbuing an image of Ant-Man, The Wasp, and Cassie Lang with vibrant, almost neon colors and creating one of the most interesting posters we have seen from the Marvel franchise for a while. Of course, Kang still lingers in the top left corner.

Directed by Peyton Reed from a screenplay by Jeff Loveness, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang aka Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne aka Wasp, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne, and Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang. The sequel finds our heroes coming face-to-face with Loki star Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, a new enemy with a mysterious agenda who will push the heroes to their limits as they attempt to navigate this mysterious world.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania promises to be a far more epic adventure when compared to the rest of the Ant-Man franchise. Director Peyton Reed has since revealed that he “metaphorically kicked in Kevin Feige’s door” to demand an Avengers level threat for Scott Lang and his team. “People felt like, Oh, these are fun little palate cleansers after a gigantic Avengers movie,” the filmmaker explained. “For this third one, I said, ‘I don’t want to be the palate cleanser anymore. I want to be the big Avengers movie.’”

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania also promises to delve ever deeper into the mysteries of the Quantum Realm. “We wanted to go in a different direction, and create an epic movie where the bulk of it takes place in the Quantum Realm,” Reed teased. “For me, it was really exciting, because the other two films take place in San Francisco, and this one, we were creating this incredibly complex subatomic world, and all the environments and ecosystems and creatures and beings that inhabit that world.”

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is scheduled to be released on February 17, 2023, as the first film of Phase Five of the MCU.
