The majority of Marvel fans have yet to see the trailer for Marvel sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, a trailer that some lucky few got to see at D23 Expo last month. But it sounds like we could be getting our first footage soon, with the official Ant-Man Twitter account teasing that a major announcement is coming soon.

“T̶i̶n̶y̶ BIG things coming…” the account said. While we have no idea what exactly this might mean, it stands to reason that, with the MCU sequel less than four months away, we could finally see our first glimpse at Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

While there are still plenty of details surrounding Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania that are being kept a mystery, it has been revealed that the Marvel outing will find Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne, along with Hope’s parents Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne, heading off into the Quantum Realm. No doubt dragged into the realm through some science experiment gone wrong, Scott’s daughter Cassie will also play a role in the sequel, which will come in handy considering that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will introduce the latest big bad, Kang the Conqueror.

Played by Loki star Jonathan Majors, Kang has been called a “time-traveling, multiversal adversary” and is expected to pose a major threat not only to Ant-Man and his pals but to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole. Producer Brain Gay has heaped praise on Majors’ performance as Kang saying, “Jonathan is a phenomenal actor and comes in prepared and so thoughtful, and I think part of the fun is that we got someone who is so talented that he can play as they say in Loki, the low keys and the high keys, and go across the whole range with him. I’m so excited for everyone to see the incredible work he’s done. I think that he’s an incredible presence on the MCU. And when he steps on screen, you know that Kang is there.”

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania promises to be a major part of the MCU, with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige stating that the movie will act as “a direct line into Phase 5 and Kang Dynasty.”

Director Peyton Reed has declared that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will change the Marvel franchise forever. “Kicking off Phase 5 is really exciting for us, because, we’re the Ant-Man movies. And it’s fun for us that Scott Lang is at the center of that change.”
