Marvel Studios shocked fans with the second look at Avengers: Endgame this month. The studio released a short spot during the 91st Academy Awards this evening, which was obviously welcomed by just about everybody. The last look at highly anticipated sequel came during this year’s Super Bowl and showed just how dark Earth had become due to the Decimation after Thanos achieved his goal of obtaining all of the Infinity Stones. Now, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are left to figure out how to reverse the effects of the Mad Titan’s master plan and save half of the universe.

Just like the last look at Avengers: Endgame that we received, this one is short and obviously leaves a lot more questions than answers. We’re still left wondering how the Quantum Realm and time travel will factor into reversing the effects of the Decimation. However, hardcore Marvel Cinematic Universe fans are just happy to have more footage to analyze and look for clues in, so taking that into account, we’re doing pretty well right now, especially since the movie is now only a few months away.

MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY

Captain Marvel is the next MCU movie to hit theaters and fans are trying to figure out how the movie will connect to Avengers: Endgame. With that being said, it has been stated that fans are not going to want to leave during the credits, so make sure you stick around. Carol Danvers’ introduction into the MCU is a huge deal that will affect the future in a major way as she will be taking on a Tony Stark-like role, according to Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige.

While Captain Marvel is the introduction of the future of the MCU, Avengers: Endgame marks the end of an era. The sequel is arguably the most anticipated movie of the year and is the culmination of 11 years of hard work by Marvel Studios that all started back in 2008 with Iron Man. Not many fans would have been able to predict that 10 years later the Avengers would be releasing their third movie with an eye on the fourth and that all of these beloved Marvel characters would be sharing the screen together.

Marvel Studios has been tight-lipped with all things concerning Avengers: Endgame, much like they were with last year’s Infinity War. However, it is pretty awesome that they have shared some more footage with fans who are looking for any clues that they can find that will lead to the reversal of the Decimation. While we wait for more clues, we’re also waiting for the promotional tour to begin. It seems unlikely that Tom Holland will be out doing interviews this time around, especially since he’s dust, but Mark Ruffalo will be out and we pretty much guarantee that he’ll share something that he isn’t supposed to. In the meantime, you can watch the latest TV spot for Avengers: Endgame below, thanks to Marvel Studios.
