Paramount+ seems determined to satisfy this season’s holiday cravings with their new Holiday Collection, releasing this December 2022. The collection will fill the streaming service with holiday classics both new and old, with films appropriate for romantics and thrill seekers alike. When a man creates a New Year’s resolution to kill women every stroke of midnight, the woman has a surprisingly terrifying holiday experience.

Snow Beast (Dec. 1)

Paramount+ is releasing several more Christmas horror movies on their platform this year, so let’s look at just one more. What starts as a typical holiday vacation in Snow Beast quickly becomes an unusual, horrific fight for survival. A man and women go to a ski resort, but their fun is cut short by a man beast’s frenzy. All this couple wants for Christmas is to make it home alive. Filled with terrifying suspense and destruction, this film will bring people together in a more distinct way than most holiday films.

Fit for Christmas (Dec. 4th)

The most wonderful time of the year is all about spreading love, and Fit for Christmas attempts to bring that Christmas love and romance straight through viewers’ screens. When a woman trying to save the local rec center starts to fall for the man who wants to turn the building into a profitable ski resort, the couple creates unforgettable Christmas memories. The film promises a simple love story set in a charming Christmas setting.

The National Christmas Tree Lighting (Dec. 11)

Even though some wouldn’t count this as a movie, the National Christmas Tree Lighting remains a staple tradition in many households. Watching this is about the connections and the comradery of the event even more than it is about the tree itself. Families come together to commentate on the celebration and watch special appearances by celebrities. No matter their budget, almost everyone struggles to match the spectacular sparkle of the national Christmas Tree.

Must Love Christmas (Dec. 11th)

While some people love the spotlight, others fear the public scrutiny that comes with it, like the writer at the center of Must Love Christmas. When a handsome reporter starts investigating this popular romance author, she detests him pushing into with her personal life. Later, the novelist finds herself in a Christmas romance of her own as she spends the holiday in a charming Christmas town with the reporter and her long-time crush.

Snow Day (Dec. 16)

Nickelodeon and Paramount have teamed up to bring some family fun to Christmas with Snow Day. People often give snow a mixed review. While some people love the clean white blanket that makes the world feel like Christmas, others despise the safety hazards and soggy lawns. Regardless of if you love or hate the snow itself, everyone loves an excuse to miss work or school.

When siblings get snowed in, one uses the opportunity to go after the girl of his dreams while the other is determined to create a second snow day by stopping the snow plower. This semi-reboot of the 2000 movie Snow Day is completed by all-new musical numbers and comedy, the movie is sure to be one which the whole family can enjoy.

When Christmas Was Young (Dec. 18)

In When Christmas Was Young, which should appeal to country music and conservative viewers everywhere, a songwriter has all but given up on her dreams of becoming a star when she runs into a stubborn music manager. The manager wants to buy the songwriter’s Christmas song, but the plot thickens when he finds himself falling in love with the writer. Even though there are few details about this project, the promise of new holiday music is enough to get excited about.

Mariah Carey: Christmas to All (Dec. 20)
