Paramount+ is a newer streaming site having first launched on March 4, 2021. Since then, it’s been trying to make its mark in the world of online streaming sites to join the ranks of powerhouses such as Netflix and Hulu. Doing so means adding fresh content every month and producing new original shows and movies that catch the eyes of millions of viewers all over the world. Such a task is easier said than done. If you like scary, then you can catch the Paranormal Activity sequels, which drop on the site on the first of the month, like most of these releases. If you’re into slick action films, then you’ll enjoy a selection of James Bond favorites like A View To A Kill, Tomorrow Never Dies, and Skyfall, which all hit Paramount+ on the 15th. Or, if you’re searching for romances to get you in the mood for Valentine’s Day, you’ll enjoy classics like Shakespeare in Love, The Romantics, and The Prince and Me which become available for streaming on January 1st. The Good, The Bad and the Ugly (Jan. 1)

“If you work for a living, why do you kill yourself working?” Leave it to a spaghetti western film to give good life advice but there it is. Despite its name referencing three kinds of people, The Good, The Bad and the Ugly is actually only about two, “Those with loaded guns, and those who dig,” and it seems the movie is full of both types. This western stars Clint Eastwood as the “Good,” a confident bounty hunter, Lee Van Cleef as “the Bad,” a ruthless mercenary, and Eli Wallach as “the Ugly,” a cagey bandit. Watch what happens when all three come together in one epic shootout.

Grease (Jan. 1)

“Go, greased lightnin’, you’re burnin’ up the quarter mile." Get ready to sing and dance to one of the most cherished musicals of all time, Grease. Naturally, the pair have a happy story and end up together, as is befitting for most romances.

This edgy musical features a slew of toe-tapping favorites such as “Summer Nights,” “You’re The One That I Want,” and “Grease.” Experience the romances, friendships, and adventures as a group of students live life to the fullest in the 1950s, and enjoy the great Olivia Newton-John, who passed away this year.

The Brady Bunch Movie (Jan. 9)

If you thought The Brady Bunch was wacky and out of place in the 70s, then things are about to get crazy when the gang lives their groovy lives in the 90s. Things aren’t looking too good for the Bradys when their house is in danger of being taken away by a greedy real estate developer. So, the six kids decide to take matters into their own hands and enter a talent contest. The Brady Bunch Movie is part homage, part spoof, and all parts nostalgia.

The Pink Panther Movies (Jan. 15)

Is Inspector Jacques Clouseau (Peter Sellers) a bumbling idiot or a complete genius? It’s difficult to say in The Pink Panther movies, and it seems that he might not even know himself. Relive the classic film that started it all with The Pink Panther. Will Inspector Clouseau be able to hunt down the famous missing jewel known as the “Pink Panther?” Most certainly, but he’ll probably find the jewel in the unlikeliest of places, in his pocket. After you finish this classic, enjoy Return Of The Pink Panther (1975) and The Pink Panther Strikes Again (1976) when all three films become available for streaming on January 15th.

The Rocky Movies (Jan. 15)

With already eight films in the franchise (including the Creed movies) and a ninth one coming in 2023, it seems like the Rocky series doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. You’ll be able to binge the original series when the first six films, Rocky through Rocky Balboa, drop on Paramount+ on January 15th. Relive the series that put Sylvester Stallone front and center and established him as a household name as he starred in one of the greatest sports series ever. “Life’s not about how hard of a hit you can give, it’s about how many you can take, and still keep moving forward.”

Hercules (2014) (Jan. 21)

Step back into ancient times when Zeus ruled the skies and gods walked among humans. Among the many children that Zeus fathered, one of the most famous was Hercules, the half god half human with superhuman strength. The 2014 live-action version of Hercules stars action hero Dwayne Johnson as the title character, a demigod who is haunted by his tragic past, the death of his wife and children. However, he must find the hero within himself if he hopes to stop an evil warlord. Hercules is a fun adventure fantasy film that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Teen Wolf: The Movie (Jan. 26)

The cast of the popular American supernatural Teen Wolf series is back for their most horrifying adventure yet, and the only original Paramount+ movie this January. In Teen Wolf: The Movie, a new evil has emerged in full force and is out for blood. Werewolf Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) must gather his trusted friends and form new alliances if he hopes to beat the terrifying evil at his doorstep. The trailer promises action, fight sequences, and plenty of romance, everything the series is known for. Catch the world premiere of Teen Wolf: The Movie when it becomes available for streaming starting on January 26th.
