This highly anticipated remake of the classic film of the same name is the big draw for the month of August. The original film, A League of Their Own, stars Geena Davis and Tom Hanks and revolves around an all-female baseball league that springs up during WWII. The film follows sisters Dottie and Kit as they compete to be the very best and make their way to becoming famous athletes. The series, also called A League of Their Own, follows the same premise and is set to star D’Arcy Carden, Abbi Jacobson, and Chanté Adams, among others. Of all the series to premiere this August, A League of Their Own is not only the most anticipated, but has high expectations considering the popularity of its predecessor. A League of Their Own is set to premiere on August 12, 2022.
Cosmic Love — August 12
Cosmic Love is a new and unique addition to the reality TV roster. Unlike other romance reality shows like The Bachelor, Cosmic Love revolves around people who find their love match based on their astrological charts. While this may seem to be just another reality tv dating show, Cosmic Love uses astrology to help to create a love connection between people. Unlike most dating shows, Cosmic Love features only four individuals rather than a larger group, focusing on the relationships of the couples and how they grow and blossom based. Cosmic Love is set to be released on August 12, 2022.

Reality TV has seen a surge over the past decade thanks to shows like Desperate Housewives and Keeping Up With The Kardashians. There is plenty to choose from in the realm of reality television and if 90 Day Fiancé isn’t your forté, then maybe something like Making The Cut is. Hosted by Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, big names in the fashion industry, Making The Cut follows 12 designers in a competition featuring challenges and assignments to test their skills. Season 3 of Making The Cut is set to premiere on August 19th, 2022, with Gunn and Klum returning to host and judge (respectively) the works of brand-new contestants.
