SYFY has been dusting off franchises, creating sparkling new storylines, origin stories and reboots that fans have praised. It’s clear the network is picking gems and hitting the nail on the head for the respective fanbases. SYFY has struck bloody gold with its Chucky series, creating a fresh new storyline, while bringing the most-loved characters and actors back to reprise the roles the fans adore. In ther new series, we aren’t viewing a rehashing of the old; we are introduced to an idyllic American town that is thrown into chaos after a vintage ‘Good Guy’ doll turns up at a suburban yard sale. Soon, everyone must grapple with a series of horrifying murders that begin to expose the town’s deep hypocrisies and hidden secrets. However, fans would never have embraced the series without the return of Don Mancini penning the scripts, Brad Dourif returning as our foul-mouthed, murdering Chucky, and, of course, Jennifer TIlly returning as Tiffany Valentine to stir the pot. They’ve already got the green light for a second season.

SYFY has proven they know what is crucial for fan faves, and they are able to make it fresh for new audiences. You know you’ll be tuning in for the new comedic thriller Bring it On: Cheer or Die next fall. Bring it, SYFY!
