As the world broadens its horizons, people from all walks of life are finally seeing themselves on the screen. Shows like Pose and Euphoria put LGBTQ+ TV characters in the spotlight, while movies like Black Panther and Encanto show people of different ethnic backgrounds from a gorgeous new perspective. The entertainment industry isn’t without its flaws, but we’re seeing more examples of unity and support through films, shows, and video games that finally feature more diverse casts and stories.
Amidst this new wave of representation and acceptance is a legend in the making: Bros, an upcoming romantic comedy written by and starring Billy Eichner. The movie is already setting making history, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter, with an entire cast of LGBTQ+ individuals, and Eichner himself is officially the first openly gay man to write and star in a major motion picture. We have high expectations for the movie, but we’ve still got a while until it releases in September 2022. For now, let’s meet some of the incredible cast members of Bros.
