Super Mario Bros won’t be released until April 2023, but the film is already facing some casting criticism. The animated feature film’s titular brothers are voiced by Chris Pratt (Mario) and Charlie Day (Luigi). According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford has signed on to the cast of Peace, Love and Misunderstanding. It was said that director James Cameron, “has ideas for it,” and Murdoch added that, “We will be pushing one.” However, Murdoch also told those on the call not to, “hold your breath for another one,” which could indicate that we may not see the sequel for quite some time....

The BAFTA Nominees for 2023 have now been announced, with Edward Berger’s epic anti-war movie All Quiet on the Western Front leading the pack with a total of 14 nominations, including Best Film and Best Director for Berger. The rest of the nominations include the likes of Elvis, Everything Everywhere All at Once, The Banshees of Inisherin, and Tár. The nominees were officially announced by Marvel star Hayley Atwell and Ted Lasso actor Toheeb Jimoh during a live press conference....

The hit action series Banshee will return to Cinemax in 2016 for a fourth season of eight episodes, which will shoot in Pittsburgh, Pa., it was announced today by Kary Antholis, president, HBO Miniseries and Cinemax Programming. The Emmy-winning show is currently in its third season, with episodes debuting Fridays at 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT). The streaming giant Netflix has often been criticized for mass-producing original titles, with some recent criticism coming from actor, producer, and director Ben Affleck. WWE Studios announced today it has secured the rights to Bermuda, a found footage horror spec script by Bobby Lee Darby and Nathan Brookes. WWE Studios beat out a number of bidders for the film. Set in the Bermuda Triangle, the story focuses on a documentary film crew that goes missing and the only trace of their disappearance comes when their film footage, chronicling their final terrifying days, is found....
