Bambi Ii Dvd Review

The Good This movie takes a refreshing look at a timeless character. The Bad I think it could have been fun to have a 5 to 10 minute featurette focusing on the first Bambi. Bambi II is one of those movies that I found I couldn’t help but like. Not that I didn’t want to, but I tend to think that some people might think that a 32 year old man shouldn’t be too excited about Bambi II....

Best Action Sequels Ever Made Ranked

The art of the sequel is not an easy science. While many franchises have come and gone, so have their awful attempts at creating a new life for a story. Some films (The Matrix, Mad Max) have natural bridges in storytelling when given the right artist with the proper material who has the vision to create a long arching story. The worst sequels (Speed 2, Red 2, G.I. Joe) are cash-grabs to take advantage of an audience desperate to see their favorite characters again, and create nothing but dull cycles in the same old story....

Breaking Bad Why Skyler White Is Unfairly Villainized

The duty of any great piece of art is to force the viewer to confront their own perception and morals in the hopes of making them a more attentive person. If it only entertains, then it hasn’t properly done its job. Even films or programs that appear to have no moral message (Pulp Fiction, Seinfeld, etc.) are rich in storytelling and psychological understanding of how human beings tend to behave, extracting their utility in the way it shows their characters and stories....

Can The Crow Reboot Work With Bill Skarsg Rd

The Crow is one of the best revenge movies of all time and one of the best of the ’90s. The Alex Proyas-directed film packs every aspect of the “get even” genre into a lean 100-minute outing while unknowingly burying a time capsule for the decade. It’s a perfect storm of actors, script, production, and direction. It’s dark and moody with brutal fight scenes, satisfying kills, and Doc Martens splashing through rain-flooded streets....

10 Overlooked Films From Renowned Directors

There are only a handful of directors working today who consistently pump out such exceptional films that every new release is considered an event. And there are fewer still whose cinematic repertoire is so varied and impressive that their movies will be remembered for decades to come. But sometimes, this could be a problem. A director may release a film that is so good and precedent-setting; something that reverberates around the world and strikes a chord with everyone who watches it to such a degree that every other film that director makes is instantly compared to it....

8 Actors Who Turned Down Major Movie Roles Because Of Other Conflicts

If the leads in Titanic had been Matthew McConaughey and Claire Danes, would the movie still have become a blockbuster? It is difficult to imagine since, in most cases, what makes certain movies, and especially characters, unforgettable are the actors who play them. So much so that, after watching the production, it is practically impossible to imagine another artist playing that same role. Yet, casting in the movie and television industry tend to happen fortuitously, and if it weren’t for a series of fateful events, the characters of our favorite movies could have been portrayed by completely different actors....

8 Reasons The Terminator Series Doesn T Make Sense

Cybernetic organisms that time travel to change the course of history is old hat to some for science fiction. Back in 1984, the idea of artificial intelligence overthrowing humanity wasn’t so antiquated. A killer robot from the year 2029 disguised as a broad-shouldered man with a foreign accent was and still is terrifying. Using a phone book (a technology obsolete to said killer robot) to find his target was also quaint yet clever at the time....
