In an unconfirmed rumor being reported over at Ain’t It Cool News, information has come out that there may be a scene being shot that would connect Jon Favreau’s Iron Man to Louis Lettier’s The Incredible Hulk. Samuel L. Jackson has been confirmed as appearing in Iron Man in the role of Nick Fury, head of the international espionage agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D. (The character’s appearance in Marvel’s Ultimate books has been confirmed as being based on Jackson....

The upcoming live-action StarWars television series may feature a familiar face in the cast. Jay Laga’aia is in talks with George Lucas about a role in the series, according to the New Zealand-based newspaper, Dominion Post. The news was dug up by the good folks at SCI FI Wire. Laga’aia played Captain Typho in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack Of The Clones and Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith....

Samantha Mathis and Peter Dobson star in this story of second chances. Callie (Mathis) suffers from a heart disease and when she checks into the hospital to wait for a new heart, she is surrounded by others who are in the same boat. Jasper (Dobson) is a fun-loving man with high hopes for the future, but Callie is not willing to join in his antics and practical jokes. She takes their situation seriously and knows that in order for her to get a new heart, someone else has to die....

Adult Swim is bringing the team back together! The network just approved a five-episode season for Aqua Teen Hunger Force from creators Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro. The two made the announcement in a statement courtesy of Comicbook.com. This news comes shortly before the release of Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm on HBO Max on Feb. 8, then later on Adult Swim on Mar. 12. The direct-to-video film was released on digital, Blu-ray, and Ultra 4K HD in November 2022....

Netflix’s Aggretsuko featuring the quirky red panda known as Retsuko, will finally be returning in 2023 for a fifth and final season. AMC today announced that it had greenlit a docu-series focused on the inaugural season of the LA KISS arena football league team. The show, which will follow dedicated players and coaches trying to turn LA’s first professional football team in years into a winning franchise, will also feature owners Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, of KISS fame, along with long-time manager, Doc McGhee. Produced by Thinkfactory Media (Gene Simmons: Family Jewels, Hatfields & McCoys, the 10-episode (60-minute) series will premiere on AMC this summer....

Don’t watch Blonde if you’re looking to see the authentic story of Marilyn Monroe’s life, as that’s not the movie that the filmmakers were looking to create. Released on Netflix in September, Blonde stars Ana de Armas as Monroe, and though it’s inspired by true events, the film is a fictionalized take that focuses primarily on the darker side of the Hollywood icon’s life, such as her mistreatment, addiction, and depression....

We have good news for Arrested Development fans today. Production has been shut down on the new season! That is good news because the production shut-down is happening so the producers can re-configure Season 4 to include even more episodes. When Netflix announced they were picking up the beloved comedy series last November, the streaming service handed out a 10-episode order for the new season. However, series creator Mitchell Hurwitz has shot much more than needed, and has pitched ideas for additional scenes and story lines....

The latest from legendary director Sidney Lumet makes its way to DVD. Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead is coming to DVD on April 15. The disc will also be released in the Blu-Ray and HD DVD formats. The standard disc will be priced at $27.98, while the Blu-Ray and HD DVD versions will cost $35.98 apiece. Special features details were not released at this time. The ensemble film stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ethan Hawke, Marisa Tomei, and Albert Finney....

When a woman is found dead in Central Park, and medical examiner Warner (Tamara Tunie) can find no apparent reason for her death, Stabler (Meloni) begins a solo investigation, which leads him to the victim’s husband, Wesley (Sarandon), who owns an established dance troupe....

WEEKEND BOX OFFICE The new alien invasion movie Battle: Los Angeles attacked the box office last week and earned $36 million in its debut. But with three new films entering the race this week including the new thriller Limitless, the alien comedy Paul, and the courtroom drama The Lincoln Lawyer, the aliens-attack-movie starring Aaron Eckhart was unable to retain its box office crown for a second week in a row....

After starring for six seasons on Breaking Bad, Walter Jr. actor RJ Mitte is down to bring back the character in a potential sequel series. After Breaking Bad ended its six-season run on AMC in 2013, the universe has continued to expand with the prequel series Better Call Saul and the one-off movie El Camino on Netflix. Neither has featured so much as a cameo from Walter Jr., but that doesn’t mean Mitte isn’t on board to reprising the role someday....

ABC News is reporting that rock singer Bret Michaels has won the reality TV show Celebrity Apprentice. The show’s host Donald Trump told Michaels that he was “hired” in Sunday’s finale. He won $250,000 for his nominated charity, the American Diabetes Association. In second place was actress Holly Robinson Peete. She also received $250,000 to go to her charity, the HollyRod Foundation that supports families facing a serious illness. Michaels, 47, is the frontman of glam rock band Poison....
