Warner Premiere today announced it is creating two live-action, multi-platform digital series with Bryan Singer and McG. The series are being co-financed through an agreement with entertainment industry veteran Dolphin Entertainment who has executive produced hit shows Zoey 101 and Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide. Warner Bros. Digital Distribution and Dolphin Entertainment will work with cable, satellite, broadband and mobile clients for placement and promotional support. The first titles produced under this agreement will be the futuristic survival tale H+ from producer/director Bryan Singer, and Aim High, the High School action thriller from producer/director McG....

CBS, America’s most-watched network, today announced pick-ups for 18 series for next season. Combined with its previously announced pick-ups, CBS has now renewed 20 returning series for the 2014-2015 season, encompassing 17 hours of primetime programming. Here’s what CBS chairman Nina Tassler had to say about the renewals. The 18 series renewed today comprise 15.5 hours of CBS’s weekly primetime schedule and include nine dramas, five comedies, two reality series and two news programs....

Fans of Batwoman were disappointed to learn that The CW has axed the show after three seasons, but its lead star is looking at the bright side of the situation. Joining the show in season 2 and serving as its titular superhero for seasons 2 and 3, Javicia Leslie initially came into the series to replace original star Ruby Rose upon her exit.
