The first teaser for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 7 has been released along with the final poster. The season, which premieres next month, will be its last. There is a pretty major twist included in the teaser and Marvel fans will more than likely be pretty intrigued with where the final season is going. S.H.I.E.L.D. will have to “change the past to rescue the future,” so time travel is definitely involved, but do they really have to go and save Hydra too?...

Platinum Studios, Inc., an entertainment company that controls an international library of more than 5,000 comic book characters which it adapts, produces and licenses for all forms of media, and Practical Pictures, producer of the American Pie and Final Destination franchises, announced today that they are jointly developing the Platinum Studios graphic novel Alien At Large as a feature film. Platinum’s Chairman and CEO Scott Mitchell Rosenberg produced this summer’s tentpole feature, Cowboys & Aliens....

Chris Noth’s Mr. Big has been completely scrubbed from the upcoming season finale of And Just Like That… on HBO Max. While the character was written out of the series in the Sex and the City revival’s first episode, there were plans for him to appear in a scene in the finale as well. Because of recent sexual assault allegations against Noth, TVLine reports that the Mr. Big footage intended to be used in the finale “will not make it to air....

The director, writer and star of this quirky new comedy talk about their upcoming film Hamlet 2 is a unique independent comedy about a falied-actor-turned-drama-teacher on a quest to sequelize one of Hamlet’s plays for the high school stage with the help of his students and his favorite actress. The film, which stars Steve Coogan, Catherine Keener, Melonie Diaz, Amy Poehler, David Arquette and Elizabeth Shue, as herself. It is official. Avatar, the movie franchise, which has captivated audiences since its first theatrical release in 2009, has made history again with its second feature film. Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures Releasing have produced three Spider-Man films in collaboration, all set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Besides, Tom Holland also appeared in three more films, making him a prominent member of Avengers (until Spider-Man: No Way Home). In his MCU journey, Spider-Man has taken a different route than the character’s previous iterations, during which many events surrounding his origins were portrayed differently. This includes the iconic spider bite sequence, which gave Peter Parker his powers in the first place....

CBS today announced the series order of Young Sheldon, a new half-hour, single-camera comedy for broadcast in the 2017-2018 season. Created by Chuck Lorre & Steven Molaro, the series follows The Big Bang Theory’s Sheldon Cooper at the age of 9, living with his family in East Texas and going to high school. The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons will also narrate the comedy as Adult Sheldon. Jon Favreau is directing/executive producing the first episode of the series, which stars Iain Armitage as 9-year-old Sheldon Cooper, as well as Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Raegan Revord and Montana Jordan....

The Good A very good film that should have been more appreciated than it was. The Bad I think there should have been more features that were exclusive to Blu-ray disc.While we have certainly seen this story before, in today’s political climate it is almost certain that like many films from the 1970s, Body of Lies, will be looked back on with reverence. I say that because this highly stylized, cat and mouse thriller was all but ignored on its theatrical release....

Legendary Pictures announced today that it has cast Chadwick Boseman and Harrison Ford to star in the company’s film based upon history’s most celebrated baseball figure, Jackie Robinson. Chadwick Boseman will depict the iconic baseball star in Untitled Jackie Robinson Project, paying tribute to the legacy and impact Robinson made when he became the first African American Major League Baseball player. Harrison Ford will star as Branch Rickey, the innovative Major League Baseball executive who is best known for breaking MLB’s color barrier by signing Jackie Robinson to a minor league contract in 1945....

The Adam Sandler: 100% Fresh comedy special has been embraced by critics and fans. The comedian named his special after the negative reactions to his previous projects with Netflix. The Ridiculous 6, The Do-Over, Sandy Wexler, and The Week Of have earned 0 percent, 10 percent, 27 percent and 23 percent, respectively, on Rotten Tomatoes. With those kind of dismal numbers, Sandler decided to get ahead of the bad reviews and name his comedy special after the ratings system....
