Caillou is coming back. WildBrain Ltd. and NBCUniversal have partnered up to announce an all-new Caillou series in the works for the streaming platform Peacock. The deal includes a CG-animated reboot of the animated series with 52 new 11-minute episodes. Peacock will also exclusively stream five 44-minute Caillou family specials that are also in the works. “We’re delighted to join with Peacock to expand the Caillou universe,” WildBrain President Josh Scherba said in a statement....

The long-gestating Gambit movie remains one of the most intriguing unmade comic book movie projects of all time, and actress Léa Seydoux has now added even further intrigue. In an interview with Indiewire, Seydoux, who had been tapped for the lead female role, has hyped the quality of the Gambit script before describing the project as “a comedy.” The role that Léa Seydoux would have played was reportedly the Marvel character Bella Donna Boudreaux, a creation of Jim Lee and Scott Lobdell....

Ozark debuted in 2017 on Netflix and has consistently been one of the streaming platform’s best original shows. Season 2 of AMC Network’s modern western series Hell on Wheels premiered last Sunday with Viva La Mexico, which ended with former Confederate soldier Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) about to be killed for his participation in a series of train robberies. This Sunday’s episode Durant, Nebraska, finds Cullen in a desperate bid to escape, with former ally Elam Ferguson (Common) doing nothing to help the problem. Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on Thursday brought Christmas a little early to some beyond well deserved homeless veterans in West Los Angeles. He took to Twitter to share the news of good cheer. “Today, I celebrated Christmas early. The 25 homes I donated for homeless veterans were installed here in LA,” the former governor wrote in a Thursday tweet. “It was fantastic to spend some time with our heroes and welcome them into their new homes....

The History Channel has released the first trailer for Assembly Required. The new series reunites Home Improvement stars Tim Allen and Richard Karn for their first substantial television work in 22 years. Both Allen and Karn serve as executive producers on the new show, which premieres Tuesday, February 23rd at 10PM ET/PT. The duo will be joined by woodworking do-it-yourself YouTube star April Wilkerson who will act as the series’ own resident expert....

While Spider-Man fans have discovered all the secrets of Marvel’s multiversal crossover movie, DC is gearing up for their own big screen superhero collaboration in next year’s The Flash. World famous mutt Benji is set to return to the big screen thanks to Walden Media. According to Variety, the scruffy, lovable pooch will star in a new family adventure produced by Brandon Camp, son of Joe Camp Jr., the creator of the Benji franchise. Brandon Camp will also write and direct this upcoming reboot, which is launching a nationwide search for a canine actor to fill Benji’s shoes. The production hopes to team with a rescue organization, and they will screen test dogs at the pound....
