A few weeks ago, the streaming service Netflix held a massive press event in New York City where they unveiled new TV shows that will be unveiled later this year. One of those was a Castlevania animated series that hailed from Adventure Time producer Frank Seibert along with indie producer Adi Shankar. While no release date has been set, Adi Shankar recently took to social media to reveal the first poster showing the massive castle that will be at the heart of this show....

The return of Charlie Cox as Daredevil is something that Marvel fans have been crying out for since the cancelation of the Netflix series back in 2018. Despite petitions and trending topics, we were never sure whether it would actually happen. Now that it has, with Cox reprising the role in the likes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law before leading his own series in Daredevil: Born Again, the actor has reflected (via EW) on what his triumphant return has been like....

It seems that Roland Emmerich’s new epic won’t be a summer movie after all. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony’s Columbia Pictures has shifted the release date for 2012 from the summer July 10 to the pre-Thanksgiving November 13 release date. “We’ve had such success with the James Bond films in November that we wanted a big tentpole film in that slot this year,” Sony distribution president Rory Bruer said Tuesday....

The hit Fox TV series 24 just wrapped up its epic eight-season run last night and now some early details have come forward about the final DVD sets for this popular series. Fox Home Entertainment has announced that 24: Season Eight and 24: The Complete Series will both be released on December 7. Also, DVD Active has posted the artwork for the Season Eight set, which you can see below, along with the full press release from Fox Home Entertainment....

Bringing back the iconic characters such as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence from the 1984 film The Karate Kid, the promising sequel series also adds an ensemble talented cast, which provides a unique structure to the plot line with their performance....

It seems that those simple rules will be heading to the big screen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the upcoming W. Bruce Cameron book, 8 Simple Rules For Marrying My Daughter is coming to the big screen. The book is a sequel to his 2001 hit book 8 Simple Rules… for Dating My Teenage Daughter, which was turned into the hit TV series starring the late John Ritter. Cameron will be adapting the book to the silver screen alongside Carolyn Michon, who authored the Grrl Genius Guide book series....

The bitter legal battle between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has brought to light many details of the former couple’s private life, as each has accused the other of physical and emotional abuse during their tumultuous relationship. God damn it feels good to be a gangster. American Gangster swept both the DVD sales and rental charts for the week ending February 24. The Denzel Washington epic was considered the first major DVD release of the year, and it delivered, selling an estimated 4 million units in its first week. That figure was approximately three times as many units sold than the next competitor, Michael Clayton, which debuted in a distant second place....

American Horror Story has undoubtedly influenced television in the past decade, especially regarding horror-related shows. With the spin-off, American Horror Stories, having a second season this year, and the original AHS getting renewed for three more seasons, the show is nothing short of a major success. Creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk are truly impressive in how many things they were capable of producing one year after the other, always surprising the viewer with innovative and very different ways of being scary and extremely disturbing....

While filming Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland became jealous of one aspect of Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man costume according to the Amazing Spider-Man star himself. While discussing his time filming the epic Marvel Cinematic Universe debut of both his and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Men, Garfield revealed that Tom Holland had one particular reason for being jealous of his costume, and it all revolved around his ability to use a mobile phone. While it may seem a peculiar thing for someone to be envious of, Garfield explained to Variety how it all came down to the inclusion of zippers that allowed him to remove the hands of his suit, while Holland didn’t have that luxury....

Batwoman star Javicia Leslie says she is honored to take on the role. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’s reboot, Bel-Air, premiered in February 2022 despite a fair amount of skepticism. The series’ predecessor had cemented its status as a classic sitcom. The Taiwanese New Wave is a whole era of filmmaking that breathed new life into Taiwanese cinema. With MCU spinoffs and various miniseries arriving every year on Disney+, Winston Duke is looking to get in on the action. The actor plays M’Baku in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a character first introduced in Black Panther in 2018. Although we haven’t seen too much from M’Baku (compared to other overarching characters within the MCU), his character has proven to be engaging in his few appearances.
