Paris-based Ubisoft Motion Pictures is planning to make 3D features based on several of its top video game franchises: Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon. Assassin’s Creed is an epic action-adventure, which centers on the conflict between Templars and Assassins, two secret organizations with different ideologies who have influenced, according to the game, most major historical events. An action drama in the vein of The Bourne Identity, Splinter Cell centers on an elite secret agent fighting world terrorism and struggling to protect his daughter....
Avatar: The Way of Water has landed with a splash this weekend, dominating the box office and also managing to please audiences even more than the original Avatar. Although the movie is very unlikely to top Avatar’s phenomenal worldwide gross, which currently stands at $2.92 billion, it is on track to become one of the highest-grossing movies of 2022. That will only be helped by a high level of audience praise that has seen Avatar: The Way of Water’s audience score on Rotten Tomatoes massively improve on its predecessor....

Bad Monday revolves around O.T. Mckee, a good guy from Michigan, with an estranged wife and kid and no job. Mckee gets kicked out of his house and finds himself wrapped up in a situation that spirals out of control with stolen cars and bags of money, which has him running for his life....

There will be more Batwheels to come, as the animated show has just been officially renewed for a second season. Variety reports that the renewal follows the series shooting up at the No. 1 original preschool series with boys aged 2-5 on Cartoon Network. It is also the most-watched original preschool show on HBO Max, where it’s been made available for streaming. This high viewership was enough to secure a season renewal, even with many major changes happening behind the scenes at Warner Bros....
Batwoman is officially coming to The CW’s Arrowverse. CBS announced today that the hit series Under the Dome and Extant will return for broadcast in summer 2015. Both from Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television, Under the Dome returns for its third season, and Extant for its sophomore season. Under the Skin was co-written and directed by Jonathan Glazer in 2013. The film was based on Michel Faber’s novel of the same name, and follows an alien life form (played by Scarlett Johansson) disguised as a beautiful woman. On the surface, she seems like a normal woman, but on the inside, she is a deadly predator. She lures men through her sexuality only to capture and slowly kill them. She is on an unknown task and was obviously sent here from another planet to prey on men....
