You can bring home all four films featuring your favorite Dark Knight on Blu-ray this May. Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever and Batman & Robin will each be released individually on Blu-ray on May 4. The films were previously available on BD in the Batman: The Motion Picture Anthology 1989-1997, but now you can own these titles individually, priced at $24.98 SRP. Batman and Robin is the last in a series of ’90s Batman movies… and perhaps the most controversial from the lot. After Tim Burton moved onto other projects, director Joel Schumacher came onboard to direct Batman Forever. The movie received mixed reception, mostly do to its shift from the somber and gloomy atmosphere Burton implemented in his films to Schumacher’s flashy and raunchy moods. Nevertheless, the film was a box office success and its sequel was released in 1997....

IMAX Corporation today announced that Beowulf: An IMAX 3D Experience contributed a record-setting $3.58 million of the $27.5 million that the film grossed at the domestic box office through its opening weekend. The IMAX 3D release played on 84 domestic IMAX screens and registered 13 percent of the film’s overall box office on less than two percent of the total screens. This performance marks the highest percentage box office contribution to a Hollywood film’s total opening weekend performance in IMAX’s history....

Fans of Bruce Willis have been saddened by the news of his retirement, but as one co-star of his newest film says, the prolific actor is “going out a legend.” Kelly Greyson, an actress and stuntwoman who’s collaborated with Willis on several projects, appears with the actor in the new film Fortress: Sniper’s Eye. That movie was filmed just over a year ago before the recent announcement that Willis was retiring after he was officially diagnosed with aphasia, a condition that affects speech and communication skills....

Atlas Entertainment announced today it is rebooting the beloved franchise, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, with Warner Bros. Pictures. Atlas’ Charles Roven and Steven Alexander will produce the feature film alongside Doug Davison and Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment (The Ring, How to Train Your Dragon, The Departed). Whit Anderson is writing the script. Warner Bros. Pictures optioned the rights from creators Fran and Kaz Kuzui, and from Sandollar Productions (Sandy Gallin and Dolly Parton), for Atlas and Vertigo to produce....

A group of Russian soldiers fight Nazi loyalists as they attempt bringing Hitler’s body to Stalin. Burial portrays the brutality and ugliness of war, but also focuses on extremist ideology as equally dangerous. Director/writer Ben Parker reminds that evil intentions survives a rotting carcass. The plot has Hitler’s ardent followers continuing to commit atrocities decades later. A valiant heroine stops them at two different points in her life. She and her compatriots suffer for the cause but understand the importance of their efforts....

We are so used to fantasy films coming from books, that whenever a film of this genre is released, our automatic reaction is to go pick up the book in order to compare and see what was left off the film’s adaptation. A Quiet Place is one of those horror franchises that will send chills down your spine without the use of horror tropes like skulls and bones, paranormal activity, and cemetery shots; in fact, it rides high on survival through a predominantly silent narrative. Abigail Breslin is the latest actor to join Garry Marshall’s upcoming romantic comedy ensemble New Year’s Eve.
