Actor, entertainer and producer Nick Cannon (America’s Got Talent, Drumline) will be featured as a recurring guest on Brooklyn Nine-Nine as Captain Holt’s (Andre Braugher) nephew, Marcus. A handsome, educated and charming young man, Marcus has just moved to the city and is staying with Holt until he finds his own place. Cannon will first appear on the series in December. Cannon is a multi-faceted entertainer in film, TV, comedy and music....

Following his hugely crowd-pleasing (for the most part) cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Daredevil star Charlie Cox has teased the further adventures of the Marvel vigilante, revealing that he knows there is something coming soon. Speaking to the Radio Times, Cox claimed that he does not know much about what will come next for Matt Murdock, but assured fans that there are definitely future appearances on the horizon. While he claims he doesn’t know much about the future plans for Daredevil, Charlie Cox would not be the first actor to play things ludicrously coy when it comes to discussing the Marvel Cinematic Universe....

The 2021 domestic box office is nearing $4.4 billion, which represents a 91% increase from 2020. That isn’t saying much however, as many movie theaters were closed in 2020 and most movies were delayed. These estimates come from Comscore, which is projecting that overall domestic box office revenues in 2021 are expected to hit $4.4 billion by the end of December. The holiday weekends are typically a busy time at the movie theaters and theaters have been busy recently, especially with the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home....

It looks like Fox is going to find a way to keep 24 alive yet again. Jack Bauer may be retired, but original series executive producers Howard Gordon and Brian Grazer are looking to revive 24 as a female-led legal thriller set in the criminal justice system. Writer/producer Jeremy Doner (The Killing) has been brought on board the creative team as a producer and has also been tapped to pen the script for the new take on the series....

In 2020, Netflix released 365 Days, an erotic romance film that broke the internet. On the heels of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy and its mixed reviews, 365 Days became just as popular but even more criticized. With a score of 0% on Rotten Tomatoes, the film gained popularity nonetheless. A singular line from the movie, “Are you lost, baby girl?" became immortalized by social media. Likewise, lead star and eye-candy Michele Morrone, who plays Massimo in the film, will forever be tied to that famous line delivered with over-the-top sultriness....

Disney’s Jungle Cruise was another successful movie made from a beloved Disney theme park ride, following in the footsteps of the blockbuster franchise Pirates of the Caribbean. The film stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (who’s currently regarded as the highest-paid actor in Hollywood), Emily Blunt, Paul Giamatti, Jack Whitehall, Jesse Plemons, and Edgar Ramirez. Blunt is Dr. Lily Houghton, a smart and tough woman in the early 1900s who’s looking to find a long-lost ancient tree, which is said to have incredible healing powers and would be able to advance the future of modern medicine....

According to Variety, a federal judge has spurned claims that Sony’s God of War videogame infringes on a set of works from screenwriters Jonathan Bissoon-Dath and Jennifer B. Dath. U.S. District Court Judge Marilyn Hall Patel issued her ruling on Tuesday. She wrote that any similarities between the screenplays were “cliched and unprotected elements.” “No reasonable trier of fact could conclude that God of War is substantially similar to any of plaintiff’s works,” Patel wrote....

Director Travis Stevens looks to continue his run in the horror genre with A Wounded Fawn. The film recently released a trailer, giving audiences a glimpse of the terror that awaits. Josh Ruben stars as Bruce Ernst, a serial killer who targets women with his charm and eye for art. However, everything may not be what it seems as the trailer unfolds. Cults? Ghosts? Insane murderers? A Wounded Fawn may leave you with more questions than answers after a first look....

Today ABC Entertainment announced pickups for nine of its most popular shows, returning broadcast television’s most successful fall series. ABC Entertainment ordered episodes of Brothers and Sisters, Desperate Housewives, Dirty Sexy Money, Grey’s Anatomy, Lost, Private Practice, Pushing Daisies, Samantha Who? and Ugly Betty. “The strength of our schedule this fall was unprecedented and speaks for itself,” said Stephen McPherson, president, ABC Entertainment. “We’re looking forward to building on that success....

Relativity Media announced today that it will promote the Bandito Brothers’ upcoming intense action-thriller Act of Valor, which stars an elite group of active-duty Navy SEALs in a fictionalized composite of actual events, during NBC’s nationally televised coverage of Super Bowl XLVI on February 5, 2012. Four 30-second unique Act of Valor commercials, featuring exclusive content, will run throughout the program including two spots that will air during the pre-game, one spot in game during the fourth quarter and one spot in the post-game show....

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom director James Wan has confirmed that the upcoming sequel is officially finished filming. Last month, Jason Momoa had shared a video from the set announcing that they were wrapping up their work on the movie.
