Moneyball Oscar nominees Brad Pitt, who will produce, and Jonah Hill, who will star, are reuniting once again for True Story, a film that also has James Franco attached to co-star. The project is based on the memoir by Michael Finkel, a New York Times Magazine journalist who learned in 2002 that his identity was used by serial killer Christian Longo, a fugitive on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted List. Michael Finkel was fired by the magazine after Christian Longo was captured in Mexico, until the fugitive revealed that Michael Finkel was the only person he would talk to....

With season 3 of the hit Netflix series Bridgerton on the horizon, it seems only fitting to approach the elephant in the room: what will happen with the Duke of Hastings? Played by Regé-Jean Page in season 1, the actor did not return for season 2, and the character’s absence wasn’t really addressed, though plenty was going on to keep viewers from missing him. Page was reportedly in talks to return to the series but has since said that he is alright with the streamer recasting the role....

The final season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine has begun filming as revealed by star Melissa Fumero with the first photo from the set. In February, it was announced by NBC that the upcoming eighth season of the popular comedy series would also be serving as its last. It’s bittersweet to know that the end is coming, but fans can get a first look at the final ten episodes by taking a look at the photo posted by Fumero on Twitter....

The Dirt, based on their printed biography, follows the band, notorious for their hard partying and wild antics, as we witness their extreme highs (and often depraved lows). While certainly not the best biopic on the market, it manages to capture the excessiveness and self-destructiveness so common within the whiskey-soaked 80s era of the glam metal....

A&E Network has taken into custody its newest original scripted drama series Those Who Kill. The announcement was made today by Bob DeBitetto, President and General Manager of A&E Network and BIO Channel. Ten one-hour episodes of the thrilling crime series starring Academy Award-nominated and Golden Globe-winning actress Chloë Sevigny (Portlandia, Big Love) and James D’Arcy (Hitchcock, Cloud Atlas) have been ordered from Imagine Television and Fox21. Production is currently slated to begin this fall and the series will premiere on A&E in 2014....

The rumor that Adam Driver could be starring in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie is gaining more traction as new reports suggest he’s a frontrunner for the role of Reed Richards. As it stands, we know that there’s a Fantastic Four reboot that’s planned to be released by Marvel Studios in 2024. Alyssa Milano will star as the lead in ABC’s untitled Rina Mimoun drama pilot. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show centers on a successful Atlanta lawyer (Milano) who returns to her messy family in Savannah, Ga., with her newborn son; Mary Steenburgen already has been cast as her mother. Angie Harmon has signed on to star in another ABC drama pilot, Women’s Murder Club; from 20th Century Fox TV, it centers on homicide inspector Lindsay Boxer (Harmon), who teams with her three girlfriends to solve murder cases....

Game of Thrones season 8 has been very divisive and some angry fans are taking matters into their own hands. A new petition demanding “competent” writers come on to remake season 8 has been set up and its gaining some serious momentum. Earlier today, the petition had an impressive 16,000 signatures, but as of this writing, there are now nearly 30,000 and one can easily watch the signatures update in real-time....

Anne Heche’s estate is being sued by Lynne Mishele, the woman living in the house where the actress crashed her vehicle. Lynne Mishele’s attorney Shawn Holley submitted documents to the Los Angeles County court on Nov. 9 seeking a creditor’s claim and filed the claim requesting “according to proof but at least $2 million,” Fox News reports. Mishele was renting the home where the car crash occurred on August 5, and the home was destroyed....

Arrow executive producers Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, and David Nutter are developing a TV series for the DC Comics superhero The Flash. The plan is to introduce the speedy superhero during Season 2 of Arrow, before potentially launching its own series. Here’s what CW Network president Mark Pedowitz had to say during the network’s executive session at the Television Critics Association executive panel earlier today. Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns are writing the pilot script, with David Nutter, who directed the Arrow, set to direct the first episode of this potential spin-off....
