Take a look at one young woman who is confined entirely to a small bird cage, while yet another three-legged woman shows off her incredible flexibility. In Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Belle’s name, as the song says, means beauty. However, it seems that the early concept art of the character bore a resemblance to Angelina Jolie and was changed as it was thought to be too perfect. Details revealed in Emily Zemler’s new book, Disney Princess: Beyond the Tiara (via Inverse), explain that the first designs for Belle were deemed too “glamorous” and were toned down to make the character more relatable....

Production on the long-awaited Beverly Hills Cop 4 is now underway, and more images from filming have emerged, revealing the return of more original characters alongside Eddie Murphy’s Axel Foley. After some speculation and worry, both Judge Reinhold and John Ashton have now been spotted on set, with the actors reprising their roles as Detective William “Billy” Rosewood and Sergeant John Taggart respectively. There hasn’t been any indication of Amber Heard completely losing her role as Mera in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, but that hasn’t stopped people from trying to make the removal happen. More than four million people have signed a petition for Heard to be cut from the film due to allegations made by Johnny Depp that she has been abusive to him before fabricating domestic violence allegations against him when their marriage was over....

WEEKEND BOX OFFICE Two new films, The Green Hornet, and The Dilemma, entered the box office race last week at number one and number two, respectively. Unfortunately, with the new romantic comedy, No Strings Attached starring Natalie Portman, and Ashton Kutcher, opening this weekend, their reign over the box office has been cut short. Debuting at number one this week is the new romantic comedy from director Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters), called No Strings Attached....

Bullet Train is an action meets comedy film based on a black comedy novel written by Kōtarō Isaka, titled Maria Beetle (Maria Bītoru). The book, which was only recently translated into English, is very different from the action portrayed in the film, according to an article written in Bustle. Indeed, the film centers around a group of assassins who all find themselves on the same bullet train for different reasons. Supported by a jam-packed cast that includes many famous actors — such as Brad Pitt who stars as Ladybug, Joey King who plays Prince, Sandra Bullock who plays Maria, Aaron Taylor-Johnson who stars as Tangerine, and Michael Shannon who is the ultimate antagonist, White Death — Bullet Train is as funny as it is action-filled thanks to these assassins....

Production started last month on the MGM Studios horror remake Carrie, starring Chloe Moretz as the title character. One of the key moments in the 1976 original Carrie is the prom scene filled with pig’s blood. While they have yet to shoot that sequence for the remake, actress Judy Greer, who plays the high school gym teacher, has seen test stills from the scene before shooting it next week. A Walking Dead fan favorite from years past will switch sides to play a villain in the superhero series Superman & Lois. Chad L. Coleman, who played the heroic Tyreese in The Walking Dead in seasons 3-5, has reportedly joined the Superman & Lois cast. Per The Direct, the news was announced during the Arrow Guests: Saving Star City panel at DragonCon by Arrowverse alum David Ramsey. While it was noted Coleman would play the main villain, his character wasn’t named, though the Direct report speculates he could be playing Intergang leader Bruno “Ugly” Mannheim....

In the days and weeks leading up to Super Bowl 50, it was rumored that Disney would be promoting multiple movies during the big game, although it was never confirmed what movies would be shown during the big game. One of movies that was rumored to be showcased is Finding Dory, and it turns out that rumor was true, with Disney releasing a new trailer for this animated sequel earlier today....
