Central Park on AppleTV+ has found its new Molly Tillerman, as The Umbrella Academy star Emmy Raver-Lampman has officially been cast in the lead role. In the first season of the acclaimed animated series, Kristen Bell voiced the role of Molly – a biracial teenager with a creative flare who loves sketching comic books about herself as a superhero character. Dark Castle Home Entertainment and After Dark Films will debut the new action movie franchise After Dark Action, it was announced today by Courtney Solomon, After Dark Films President and CEO. The second season of AMC’s Revolutionary War drama Turn: Washington’s Spies began production this week in and around Richmond, Virginia, including at two historic locations in Williamsburg; Colonial Williamsburg’s Historic Area and on the campus of the College of William & Mary. The filming in Colonial Williamsburg’s Historic Area will take place at the Governor’s Palace, which was the official residence for the Royal Governors of the Colony of Virginia, as well as home to two of Virginia’s post-colonial governors, Patrick Henry and Thomas Jefferson, and marks only the second time a large-scale production has been allowed to film in the historic location, which previously hosted the filming of John Adams....

CNN has announced their plans to make a documentary about the life of Anthony Bourdain. The network aims to make “the definitive Bourdain feature documentary,” and hopes to have it done in time for a possible release next year. Bourdain hosted his Parts Unknown series on the network, which was an extension to his work on No Reservations, his previous show that aired on the Travel Channel. Two months after his death, Bourdain fans, who felt like they knew him, are still trying to come to grips with his suicide....

An autopsy on Heath Ledger was inclusive, and more tests are needed, the medical examiner’s office said Wednesday, a day after the 28-year-old actor was found dead with sleeping pills nearby. It will take about 10 days to complete the investigation, said Ellen Borakove, a spokeswoman for the medical examiner. Earlier, police said the death was caused by a possible drug overdose and appeared to be accidental.
