According to the Charlie’s Angels star, weeks prior to her landing her breakout role in The Mask she struggled to find work as a model in Paris and was finally hired for one gig. On the Second Life podcast, Diaz stated: Diaz said she slowly came to realize what was happening when she reached customs at the border....

As we approach the second all-new Season 8 episode of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia this Thursday, October 18th, with “The Gang Recycles Their Trash”, it’s safe to say that Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton, Rob McElhenney, Kaitlin Olson, and Danny DeVito aren’t going anywhere despite those pesky promos claiming an all-new cast has taken over for them this year. It was all a gag set forth by FX’s promotional department, and it was a pretty funny one....

We were expecting to see the returns of other stars from The Karate Kid movies, but there probably weren’t many fans who pictured an appearance from Carrie Underwood. In the show’s fourth season, which premiered on Netflix on New Year’s Eve, the 7-time Grammy Award winner appeared to perform “The Moment of Truth” from The Karate Kid original soundtrack. The American Idol winner addressed her cameo and noted how thrilled she was to join the Miyagiverse....

CBS All Access, CBS’ digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service, today announced a new original straight-to-series order for Interrogation, a true-crime drama series in which the viewer becomes the detective. The series will be produced by CBS Television Studios and Fabrik Entertainment. Co-creators Anders Weidemann (30 Degrees In February) and John Mankiewicz (House of Cards, Bosch) will serve as executive producers alongside Fabrik Entertainment’s Henrik Bastin and Melissa Aouate....

In a bizarre event, Hawkeye star Florence Pugh has been temporarily blocked from posting on Instagram. Apparently, someone complained about Pugh’s latest post, saying she spoiled her appearance as Yelena Belova in Hawkeye episode 4. Florence Pugh made her MCU debut as Yelena Belova in Black Widow. Yelena is the younger sibling of Natasha Romanoff; a role made famous by Scarlett Johansson. While Black Widow wasn’t a massive hit with the fans or at the box office, everybody appreciated the performances of the cast, especially Pugh’s turn as Yelena Belova....

If you’re heading to the theater to watch How to Train Your Dragon this weekend, don’t be surprised if you end up paying more than usual. Variety is reporting that some theaters could charge up to 26% more than the usual 3D surcharge this weekend. It was said that the average 3D surcharge ran between $2 and $3 but some theaters could be charging $3.50 or more and, in large markets like New York and Los Angeles, the charge could be as much as $5 or more....

Wow… I’ve never had to admit that I was sorry to see a summer-season end, but Monk, Psych and, especially, Burn Notice, all fom USA Network really kept things moving through the dog-days. Alas, all good things (as they say) must come to an end. Luckily, with that end, comes a new beginning… …and, so the Fall TV season has been trickling onto the tube. Desperate Housewives delivered nothing but regurgitaion (although they tricked my DVR into thinking it was a new episode)....

Aasif Mandvi, Shaun Toub and Cliff Curtis have joined the cast of M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender for Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies. Shyamalan, Sam Mercer and Frank Marshall are producing with principal photography to begin mid-March 2009. They join a cast headed by Noah Ringer, who plays the title role, Nicola Peltz, who plays the Waterbender Katara, Jackson Rathbone, in the role of Katara’s brother Sokka, and Dev Patel, who plays Prince Zuko, prince of the Fire Nation....

Alone with Her is a film that came out of nowhere. On the surface, it plays like a publicity stunt in that the entire movie has been filmed with hidden cameras, or been given a look to seem like it was filmed with hidden cameras. At about 5 minutes in I think that one will realize that the medium is the least important thing about this movie. It’s message and subject matter are such that I think two like minded people could go see the film, and both of them could have very different reactions....

As the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard defamation trial resumed today, Heard’s return to the stand saw her claiming Warner Bros. reduced her appearance in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom due to her legal wrangling with Depp, and almost cut her from the movie entirely. While it was previously reported that Heard had almost not been brought back for the Aquaman sequel due to “chemistry issues” with co-star Jason Momoa, Heard has testified that she had to fight to hang on to her role because of her ongoing legal fight....

AMC’s original Western drama Hell on Wheels will return for an expanded fourth season of 13 episodes on Saturday, August 2 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. The new season of the series, which stars Anson Mount, Colm Meaney and Common, will air in two parts with the first 10 episodes running consecutively through Saturday, October 4, before taking a hiatus during the networks annual FearFest programming, and returning for the final three episodes beginning on Saturday, November 8....

Skilyr Hicks, the sensational performer who mesmerized judges on America’s Got Talent Season 8, was pronounced dead last Monday at Liberty, South Carolina. The incredibly talented performer who turned heads on the show as a 14-year-old was 23 at the time of her passing. According to the report published by TMZ, Chief Deputy Chad Brooks at the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office has revealed that they are suspecting drug overdose as the cause of her death....

The Nine Lives of Chloe King star Skyler Samuels has signed on for a recurring role in FX’s American Horror Story: Freak Show. The character is said to have a “pivotal role” this season, playing a local Jupiter, Florida resident who “finds herself in a tough situation.” The series is set in 1952, following a travelling circus that arrives in town at the same time a dark power emerges, which threatens the lives of both the locals and the carnival freak show members....

The John Wick franchise already has one spin-off coming in the form of prequel mini series The Continental, and now another highly anticipated offshoot of the Keanu Reeves movie, Ballerina, is seemingly close to casting its lead with reports that No Time To Die star Ana de Armas is in talks to take on the role of a young female assassin out for revenge on the killers of her family, who was seen briefly in John Wick : Chapter 3 - Parabellum as a trainee assassin who was a ballerina - so you can see where the spin-off’s title comes into it....

Yesterday, Two and a Half Men star Angus T. Jones created a firestorm of controversy when he said during a video interview that the show is “filth” and that viewers should not tune in to the hit CBS sitcom. Today, the actor apologized for his remarks, expressing his gratitude towards series creator Chuck Lorre, the cast, and crew of the show. Take a look at his statement in full. Doctor Who will celebrate its 60th anniversary with three special episodes coming in November this year. These will also introduce the new iteration of the character, played by Sex Education’s breakout Ncuti Gatwa, who was announced last year as the new protagonist of the iconic show. A few months ago, the BBC confirmed that Millie Gibson (Coronation Street) would join Gatwa as the Doctor’s companion. And now, two new faces are ready to get into the new adventure....

After much speculation, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s first role after leaving office will be as an animated superhero called, what else, The Governator, in a new series from legendary comic book impresario Stan Lee. Andy Heyward will produce this series, which was set to debut on the cover of Entertainment Weekly this Friday. The show will pick-up with Arnold Schwarzenegger leaving the governor’s office to become a crime fighter. He will run his operations out of a top secret, high-tech crime fighting center dubbed ‘The Arnold Cave’, which sits underneath his house in Brentwood....

While Bam Margera says he’s eager to leave Jackass in his past, he remains friends with Steve-O, one of his former co-stars from the franchise. Recently, Margera appeared as a guest for a remote interview for Steve-O’s Wild Ride podcast, and the two spoke about how they were happy to remain friends despite everything that happened with Jackass Forever. While Margera was set to appear in the sequel, he had been fired early into production for violating an agreement that mandated he stay sober....
