Alec Baldwin and Kelsey Grammer are both set to make their return to sitcoms, as ABC has given a straight-to-series order for a new multi-camera comedy series starring the two veteran actors. Several details regarding AMC’s upcoming remake of Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire have reportedly leaked and tease some big changes for the new adaptation. The project, which will tell the story on the small screen in a serial format, will follow journalist Daniel Malloy, whose career has suffered many ups and downs, and is given a second chance to interview a vampire named Louis de Pointe du Lac. The Los Angeles Times spoke with director Guillermo del Toro, who revealed that his highly-anticipated project At the Mountains of Madness could start shooting as early as June 2011. The director says the script is ready and that he recently held a “summit meeting” with Universal and producer James Cameron, where he discussed the concepts and models for the sci-fi adventure. Batwoman is getting her very own TV show. The CW is officially developing a series centered on Kate Kane who, in the world of DC Comics, takes up the mantle of Batwoman.
