A Connecticut newspaper has revealed an upcoming action film will be shooting in the state next year. Valley Independent Sentinel is reporting that Antoine Fuqua’s Prisoners will be filming in the Connecticut towns of Derby and Shelton. Here’s an excerpt from the article. The article also states that locals were told that Hugh Jackman was attached to the film, although that wasn’t confirmed at this time. It was also said that 750 extras will be needed for filming and a casting call has gone out for actors to play three reporters....
Like it or not, we are getting more Assassin’s Creed live-action adaptations. Possibly a lot more. And what’s more is that, in addition to a movie sequel being in the works, it looks like Ubisoft is also working on an Assassin’s Creed TV series. The icing on the cake to this whole thing is the in-the-works show could wind up on Netflix, which makes the prospect a lot more intriguing....
