300 came out on DVD today but that hasn’t stopped Deborah Snyder, wife of Zack, from discussing another release of this title in the future. In a story from Home Media Magazine, Deborah Snyder, “an executive producer of the film, revealed that an in-movie experience feature for the Blu-ray Disc of 300 wasn’t yet ready for the release.” Shortly after that, at a “DVD release party, held July 28 at Petco Park in San Diego,” she continued talking about another 300 release by saying, “I think there’s going to be another Blu-ray special edition later on....

Historically, movies based on video games have been notoriously poorly received. In fact, regardless of the genre, Hollywood has just seemed to be unable to get it right. Whether it was the schlocky 90s beat ’em ups (Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat), shoot ’em up misfires (Doom), or poorly paced racing flicks (Need for Speed), almost nothing worked. Even a movie based on the world’s most beloved Italian plumbing siblings, The Super Mario Bros....

It looks like Paramount are on the hunt for a new director for its A Quiet Place spin-off movie, as Jeff Nichols has parted ways with horror project in favor of a sci-fi movie he is also developing for the studio. The untitled project will be written and directed by Nichols, and is seemingly a high priority for Paramount as it first announced in June with the expectation that it would fall in line before the Quiet Place film which has a release date set for March 31st, 2023....

It may be true that we haven’t seen the last of Rick Grimes, but we’ve certainly seen the last of him on The Walking Dead TV show. AMC had been touting the departure of Andrew Lincoln as Rick from the hit series as a major selling point for viewers. This past Sunday’s episode, What Comes After, gave Rick his send off. Though, it wasn’t what many were expecting. Despite the fact that it’s certainly possible, from a storytelling perspective, Lincoln has declared he will never return to the series....

You can head Down Under with Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman on DVD and Blu-ray this March. Australia will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on March 3. A comedy-drama crime procedural television series called Bones debuted on Fox in 2005 and ran till 2017. Over the course of 12 seasons, the program broadcasted 246 episodes. The series is very loosely based on the life and novels of Kathy Reichs, a forensic anthropologist, who also produced the show. Boy Meets World fans always knew that Mr. Feeny wasn’t to be messed with, but now an unsuspecting burglar is well aware of that as well. William Daniels, the 91-year-old actor who portrayed the beloved teacher on the 90s series, recently stopped an attempted burglary at his home. Apparently, he’s still pretty sharp, even in his twilight years. According to local authorities, the incident happened over the weekend when a would-be intruder tried to kick in the back door of William Daniels’ home, which is located in the San Fernando Valley in California....

The newest trailer for the action-packed, heart-pounding movie Bullet Train has been released online. We’ve known for quite sometime that Die Hard 5 is in the works. This weekend, Bruce Willis confirmed to MTV that a script for the sequel is now completed, and that shooting will happen in 2011. The plot is being kept under wraps for the time being. While a draft of the screenplay seems to have been met with approval from the actor, it still needs to be tweaked before production can begin....

For eight decades now, Bugs has been known as one of the most popular cartoon characters of all time, and even still, it seems impossible for any child to grow up unaware of the popular animated rabbit. With a planned return to the big screen in 2021, the legendary cartoon character is just as popular as ever, and there certainly won’t be many other characters that will be able to say the same 80 years later....
