New images have just been released for the final season of Better Call Saul. Recently given a premiere date of April 18 on AMC, the sixth season of the series will bring an end to the Breaking Bad prequel series, showing fans what happened in the years leading up to Walter White’s cancer diagnosis. We’ll also find out what ultimately becomes of Jimmy McGill, Bob Odenkirk’s former lawyer once known a “Saul Goodman” who’s now living under a new identity as a Cinnabon manager in Omaha....

Life is no longer what it once was for Bill Cosby, but he’s still finding his reasons to smile. While his reputation hasn’t much improved, Cosby takes comfort in knowing that his “unjust conviction” was overturned by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court last year, officially tossing his prison sentence and turning the Ghost Dad star into a free man. His publicist, Andrew V. Wyatt, shared a new image of Cosby to commemorate the anniversary of that day and released a statement from the comedian....

It may just be a matter of time before Bill Cosby is back on stage. For decades, Cosby had served as “America’s Dad” and one of comedy’s most revered personalities, though that’s all changed dramatically in recent years. The Ghost Dad star has been slapped with dozens of allegations of sexual assault and misconduct, and while he’s steadfastly denied them all along, his career has taken a heavy hit. When Cosby was sentenced to prison for his alleged crimes, it certainly looked like his comedy career was all but over, even with the court later dropping the charges against him and granting an early release....

There’s something different about Apple TV+ television shows. Though their burgeoning catalog is small relative to other streaming platforms, the amount of care they put into each production is abundantly evident. While Netflix used to seemingly greenlight any pitch, Apple TV+ is very selective, but when they do produce something, they throw enough money at it to feed an army. They’ve spent $200 million each on the upcoming film Argylle, the Scorsese film Killers of the Flower Moon, and the TV series Invasion, $100 million on an upcoming Christmas movie with Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds, and $250 million on the upcoming miniseries Masters of the Air....

Miley Cyrus is always up to something, isn’t she? Recently the singer-actress was a guest on Howard Stern Sirius XM show and decided it was a top time to go ahead and spoil some TV news for Netflix. The story goes that the spawn of Billy-Ray “don’t tell my achy breaky heart” Cyrus was talking about the recent Malibu fires, and somehow that conversation turned to her all but 100% confirming that she will be appearing in the upcoming fifth season of Netflix’s dystopian future drama series Black Mirror....

20th Century Studios is finally rebooting The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen for Hulu, per The Hollywood Reporter. Set in an alternate Victorian Age, 2003’s feature film The League of Extraordinary Gentleman from 20th Century Fox followed a group of famous literary heroes on a secret mission. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is based on the Bram Stoker Award and Eisner Award-winning comic book franchise created by author Alan Moore and artist Kevin O’Neill in 1999 and a 2003 movie of the same name....

Berlinale Art Director Carlo Chatrian and Executive Director Mariette Rissenbeek announced the competition line-up for the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival. 18 films will be there for the Silver and Golden Bear. The festival will open with the premiere of director Rebecca Miller’s romantic comedy She Came to Me, starring Anne Hathaway, Marisa Tomei and Peter Dinklage. One of the respected directors of European cinema, Christian Petzold (Undine, Transit & Barbara) will be at the festival with his new film Afire, starring Paula Beer....

The ensemble cast for the upcoming family comedy Humboldt Park has just gotten bigger. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alfred Molina, Jay Hernandez, Melonie Diaz, Luis Guzman, Vanessa Ferlito and Mercedes Ruehl have all joined the Humboldt Park cast. Alfredo de Villa is directing from a script by Rick Najera, Alison Swan and Ted Perkins-Lopez that revolves around a family reunion during the holidays in the Chicago neighborhood of Humboldt Park....

Xochitl Gomez’s America Chavez is set to make her MCU debut with the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. She will join Strange, Wanda, and others in their dangerous and life-threatening adventure through the multiverse. However, The Hollywood Reporter reports that the character was earlier a part of the No Way Home ensemble besides Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange. In the movie, it would have been Chavez to assist the three Spider-Men in their quest to cure the multiversal villains, using her magical powers to open portals, just the way Jacob Batalon’s Ned Leeds did in the final cut of the film....

The last season of American Horror Story wrapped up back in November, and while we have known for quite some time that the show is coming back, having been renewed not only for AHS Season 7, but also Season 8 and Season 9 as well, we haven’t learned anything about the new season’s story. Last season, series creator Ryan Murphy kept fans in the dark in every aspect of the show, including the cast members and story line, but this year, he decided to not keep fans waiting....

Many fans of The Walking Dead were disappointed to learn that this upcoming season 9 of the hit post-apocalyptic series will be the final one featuring Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes. However, according to Andrew Lincoln himself, Rick has actually lasted a bit longer in the series than originally intended, as he wanted his character to be written off back in Season 8. This original plan for Rick wasn’t merely made up by Andrew Lincoln....

Spartacus: Blood and Sand star, Andy Whitfield, passed away today in Sydney, Australia from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Andy Whitfield, who was from Wales but lived in Australia, was a relatively unknown actor until he was chosen for the series, a sex- and blood-soaked version of the early life of the Thracian gladiator who led a slave rebellion against the Roman ruling class from 73 to 71 B.C. Whitfield took what was supposed to be a temporary leave from the show, which was an instant hit after its January 2010 debut, after a routine check-up in March of that year revealed a recurrence of cancer....

Another extra from the set of Watchmen has reported in with his opinion about how well director Zak Snyder is adapting the award-winning graphic novel. “Ex”, as he wishes to be known, told Watchmen Comic Movie.com about what he saw. “Ex” was careful not to reveal any spoilers in his report, but he enthusiastically describes how elements from the comic have been “flawlessly recreated”: From what I saw and what I heard from my fellow extras, it seems to me that everything is being done to keep this film as close to the novel as possible....

Roadside Attractions announced today that is has acquired all U.S. rights to Answers to Nothing, directed by Matthew Leutwyler (The River Why) and starring Dane Cook, and will release the film nationwide on December 2, 2011. Answers to Nothing is a gritty drama of interweaving stories set in Los Angeles against the backdrop of a child kidnapping case. Along with Dane Cook, the film also features Elizabeth Mitchell, Julie Benz, Academy-Award Nominee Barbara Hershey, Zach Gilford, Kali Hawk, Erik Palladino, Mark Kelly, and Miranda Bailey....
