After the massive success of the Veronica Mars movie’s Kickstarter campaign, rock legend Alice Cooper is using the crowd-funding website for his own project entitled Uncle Alice Presents, which will become a comic book series, a graphic novel, and a TV pilot with your help. The campaign is asking for $200,000 for a 12-episode comic book series, created by Tom Sheppard (The Annoying Orange), which will lead to the compilation graphic novel and possibly the TV pilot....

With just two episodes remaining on American Horror Story: Coven (“Go to Hell” on January 22 and “The Seven Wonders” on January 29), many fans are already looking forward to what Season 4 might have to offer. Series creator Ryan Murphy has a story mapped out, and has revealed that the untitled season will be set in the year 1950. As one might expect, Ant-Man screenwriter Adam McKay is still holding out hope for making a Silver Surfer movie for Marvel Studios. As of now, the metallic space-traversing superhero has not yet made his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Given his connections to the Fantastic Four, it would seem that the Silver Surfer’s debut shouldn’t be too far off after Kevin Feige confirmed Marvel’s plans to develop a new Fantastic Four movie....

Russian-born actor Anton Yelchin is in negotiations to play Pavel Checkov in J.J. Abrams’ new Star Trek film. If you didn’t know, Checkov is the Russian-born navigator of the USS Enterprise under the command of James T. Kirk. As we learned at Comic Con, both Zachary Quinto and Leonard Nimoy are playing the role of Spock. According to Variety, casting is currently underway in both London and New York. Abrams is searching for the perfect Kirk, as well as Bones, Uhura, Sulu, Scotty, the film’s villain and the Federation captain....

It seems that a popular Spanish actor and Spanish director are finally reuniting after more than two decades. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Antonio Banderas will star in director Pedro Almodóvar’s new film, The Skin I Live in. The film will be based off the novel “Tarantula” by Thierry Jonquet, which centers on a plastic surgeon, which Banderas will portray, who seeks vengeance for the rape of his daughter. Almodovar revealed that he had not wanted to announce the project yet, but Banderas couldn’t hold his tongue any longer, revealing his involvement during an interview at the St....

Batman Beyond star Will Friedle says he would love for the series to be revived. Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast remake was a massive hit in 2017, so it is no surprise that the House of Mouse has gone all-in on a spin-off series based on the movie, which will start filming this spring, according to actor Josh Gad.
