The premiere episode of FX’s critically-acclaimed miniseries American Horror Story: Coven (10/9/13, 10:00-11:12 PM) was the most-watched telecast ever of the American Horror Story franchise, recording 5.54 million Total Viewers, 3.87 million Adults 18-49 (3.0 rating) and 2.34 million Adults 18-34 (3.5 rating), which ranked #1 for the night in Adults 18-34 against all broadcast competition in primetime (8:00-11:00PM), and it ranked #2 in Adults 18-49 behind Modern Family. (Cable program rankers for Wednesday will be available later this afternoon....

Margot Robbie might be a “Barbie Girl” with her role in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, but don’t count on hearing the Aqua song playing at any point in the film. As previously revealed, the song will not be a part of the Barbie movie, and that news has disappointed many fans who were expecting it to be featured in some capacity. In April, Aqua lead singer Lene Nystrøm’s manager, Ulrich Møller-Jørgensen, confirmed that no arrangements had been made to include the song in the film....

The CW has announced when their annual Arrowverse crossover event will be taking place. This year’s intersection of the network’s DC superhero shows will include The Flash, Supergirl and Arrow, who are going to be introduced to Ruby Rose’s Batwoman. Beyond that, precious few details in regards to what we can expect from the crossover have been made available. But we at least know when you can expect to see the action go down....

Kotobukiya and Marvel Entertainment, Inc. have entered into an expansive, multi-year, worldwide licensing agreement for a wide range of high-end collectibles, according to reports from Marvelous News. The deal covers both Marvel Comics and their upcoming films, including this summer’s The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man The arrangement covers seven different categories of collectible, including Kotobukiya’s signature line - the ARTFX Statue. “We are excited to work with Kotobukiya as a premiere collectible partner, and we are confident that their talented designers will bring a new, fresh perspective to our characters....

I loved this film! Arthur and the Invisibles is one of the most enjoyable movies I’ve seen in years. I think Freddie Highmore is an amazing actor; to switch back from animation and real time, wow! The animation was awesome as well!! Half the time watching it, I forgot I was watching an animated film (at least the parts that were animated). The film follows Arthur (Highmore); he has to save his family’s farm from being bought out....

IMAX Corporation and Twentieth Century Fox today announced that James Cameron’s Avatar continued its record-breaking box office run over its third weekend, grossing approximately $8.7 million from 179 IMAX theaters domestically from January 1 through January 3, 2010. The film registered more than 12% of the film’s total domestic gross of $68.3 million during that period on less than 3% of the screens, driving the domestic IMAX box office to date to approximately $47....

Avatar: The Way of Water stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña might play an inter-terrestrial couple on the big screen, but the talented duo says their real-life relationship is more like that of siblings. “…She’s like my sister. It’s very weird that we [film] these love affairs together,” Worthington, who is reprising his role as Jake Sully in the Avatar sequel, told People. Saldaña returns as Neytiri, a Na’vi princess and Jake’s mate....

Bill Murray’s role in his new movie Being Mortal is currently unclear after production was suspended due to his allegedly inappropriate behavior on set. Now Murray has addressed the incident in an interview with CNBC at the 2022 Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholders Meeting. While he did not go to exact details, the Ghostbusters star briefly explained how he had done something that wasn’t taken the way he intended and how the fallout was affecting him....

The touching tribute show put on for Bob Saget by some of his closest friends in the industry will soon be available for fans to watch on Netflix. Per TMZ, a tribute show was held in January at The Comedy Store in West Hollywood shortly after Saget’s death at the age of 65. The event was organized in part by Mike Binder, one of Saget’s best friends, who has revealed that Netflix has acquired the footage from the tribute show with plans for a streaming release in June 2022....
