Black Adam is shaping up to be an action-packed, 2-hour thrill ride for the DCEU. The first reactions began to pour in, with fans calling it “a straight shot of adrenaline.” The film, starring Dwayne Johnson, Viola Davis, Pierce Brosnan, and Aldis Hodge, could be exactly what DC has been waiting for, as they want to get their extended universe back on track. Hodge, who plays Carter Hall, AKA Hawkman, weighed in on the potential for a match-up between Superman and Black Adam, and he has big ideas for how it should go down....

Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie have signed on as judges for the beloved music competition series American Idol for its first season on ABC. They round out the panel of judges, alongside judge Katy Perry. Ryan Seacrest will return to host the series. Variety gives us details of what went on during Cinemacon, where Disney revealed the first test footage to attendees. The name of the sequel has also been revealed, Avatar: The Way of Water. He plays the head of a run-down YMCA in inner-city Philadelphia; that is, until Terrence Howard comes in and rejuvinizes the center with the help of his hope and determination....

Jason Isaacs is an acclaimed actor who has tackled what seems like every possible role. He has done work in both film and television, including voice acting in video games and animated series. Isaacs began acting in 1988, but didn’t really become well-known until he was cast as Felton in Dragonheart. His roles in direct-to-television films A Relative Stranger and Guardians eventually led to him being cast in the 1998s science fiction disaster film Armageddon....

It was a major bummer for everyone involved when Batgirl was canceled from its planned release on HBO Max. Even though the film has been completely shot and was getting finalized in post-production, the decision was made at Warner Bros. Discovery to toss the film completely as part of a new business strategy for the DCEU.
