While the norm is for Marvel movies to have both a mid-credits scene and an additional sting at the end of the credits, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will close out with its mid-credits scene only....

The upcoming Marvel sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, will “top” its Academy Award-nominated predecessor, according to returning star Angela Bassett. Basseett, who will return to the world of Wakanda as Ramonda, T’Challa and Shuri’s mother and the Queen Mother of Wakanda, teased the sheer quality of the follow-up while appearing on The Ellen Show. After hyping Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Basset continued, heaping praise on her dearly departed co-star Chadwick Boseman....

Following resounding critical approval for the series’ second-season debut on Sept. 25, HBO has renewed Boardwalk Empire for a third season, it was announced today by Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming. “Following a triumphant first season, I was eager to see what Terence Winter, Martin Scorsese and the rest of their stellar team had in store, and they continue to surpass our highest expectations,” said Lombardo. “The response from the media and our viewers has been extremely gratifying....

Veteran TV host Bob Barker plans to retire from “The Price Is Right” in June after 35 years as emcee of America’s longest-running game show and five decades on network television, CBS said on Tuesday. Barker, 82, who launched his national television career in December 1956 as host of another long-running game show, NBC’s popular “Truth or Consequences,” said he was ready to take a break from the hectic pace of taping five shows a week....

Marley, a new documentary about the iconic Jamaican reggae singer, just can’t keep a director attached. Last May, Martin Scorsese dropped out of the project sighting a “scheduling conflict”. Today, The New York Post’s Page Six is reporting that Jonathan Demme, the director that took over for Scorsese, has also left the film, which is scheduled for a February 6th, 2010 release date (what would have been the singer’s 65th birthday)....

Perhaps late actor Bob Saget could not be there in person for his TV daughter’s recent wedding, but John Stamos felt that his longtime friend and Full House co-star was there in spirit. Because the cast of the classic sitcom has stayed very close throughout the years, Saget would have certainly been there to see Jodie Sweetin tie the knot in July. Sadly, that wasn’t possible as Saget passed away in January at the age of 65....

PREDICTED WEEKEND BOX OFFICE While the long awaited third chapter of the phenomenally popular Twilight film series, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, earned roughly $214 million in its first ten days of release, it still wasn’t enough to retain the number one spot this weekend against newcomer Despicable Me, which debuted with an astonishing $60.1 million. Taking the number one spot in its debut this week is Universal’s new animated film Despicable Me....

Brad Pitt starred in another blockbuster this summer with Bullet Train. The film follows five assassins on a train who discover their missions all have something in common. Bullet Train was a success with audiences and financially, with a 76% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and a hefty $235 million at the box office against an $86 million budget. The film is helmed by action enthusiasts David Leitch, responsible for projects such as John Wick, Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw....

The Mummy Returns has always been the subject of ridicule for the infamous appearance of Dwayne Johnson as a CGI nightmare called the Scorpion King. The incredulity that the movie was made in the same year that Peter Jackson released his first Lord of the Rings movie and showed what could be done with CGI, has not lessened over time. However, the film’s lead star, Brendan Fraser, recently requested a little kindness for the CG misstep, and said that the film really wouldn’t be the same without the charm of the less than slick rendering of the character....

Vision Entertainment Group has partnered with Suzanne DeLaurentiis Productions to produce a new mystery thriller titled the The Grief Tourist. A disturbed and troubled soul, Jim Tahana, retraces the footsteps of serial killers who fascinate him as his hobby. His dark obsession with past killers soon becomes his reality and leads viewers on a menacing and horrific journey inside his twisted mind. Cast for the film include Michael Cudlitz, (Southland, A River Runs Through It, Grosse Pointe Blank, Running Scared, and The Negotiator) and Emmy Award Winner Bryan Cranston, (Breaking Bad)....

Both the uncensored director’s cut of Cabin Fever on Blu-ray and the standard issue DVD release of Cabin Fever 2: Spring Break are available in stores today. Original Cabin Fever director Eli Roth turned over the reigns to Ti West for Part 2 after Lionsgate balked at Roth’s own idea for a sequel. Roth originally wanted to make a Song of the South inspired follow-up that had Deputy Winston (Giuseppe Andrews} and his animated forest friends raping dead bodies in the woods....

Millions of fans were impressed with Kylie Jenner’s Halloween costume. On Instagram, the reality TV star posted several images of herself made up to look like Elvira, the iconic horror hostess played for decades by Cassandra Peterson. Each of the images garnered millions of likes on the social media platform, leaving Jenner’s fans stunned by the look. In one post, Jenner writes, “MISTRESS OF THE DARK” in the caption. Word has come in that actor Adam Rich has died. A former child star best known for his role in the classic TV series Eight Is Enough, Rich was reportedly found dead at his home in Los Angeles on Saturday. Per TMZ, the cause of death has not yet been revealed, but it was divulged that Rich was found deceased by an unnamed person who came to his house. Foul play is said to not be a factor....
