2021 was a big year for Andrew Garfield as the 38-year-old actor starred and appeared in multiple big hits such as The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Tick,Tick…Boom! The latter earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. Garfield is looking to continue his streak with Hulu’sUnder the Banner of Heaven, a true-crime miniseries. Based on the 2003 book by Jon Krakauer, “Under the Banner of Heaven” is a nonfiction piece that focuses on a double murder committed by Ron and Dan Lafferty, two Mormon brothers who killed their sister-in-law Brenda and niece Erica in 1984....

Working Title Films has commenced production on Joe Wright’s epic love story Anna Karenina, adapted from Leo Tolstoy’s classic novel by Academy Award winner Tom Stoppard (Shakespeare in Love). The film will shoot in the U.K. and Russia. Focus Features will distribute the movie domestically, and Universal Pictures International (UPI) will distribute the movie internationally. Anna Karenina marks Mr. Wright’s fourth film with Working Title, following the award-winning box office successes Pride & Prejudice, Atonement, and The Soloist....

The rumors are true, and fans are going to be more stoked than ever for the upcoming WandaVision spinoff series Agatha: Coven of Chaos. Obviously, the show will bring back Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, and Emma Caulfield Ford has also confirmed she’ll be reprising her WandaVision role as Dottie. Just recently, it was also reported that Joe Locke had joined the series, suggesting that the cast is currently taking shape....

Avatar: The Way of Water continues to amaze audiences in theaters. Just like the first movie, this one is still in theaters, making big numbers at the box office, with hopes to surpass its predecessor while still earning the category of successful, nonetheless. The second installment of the Avatar series didn’t go unnoticed by critics as well, with over 77% critics’ score and 92% audience score. There are many similarities between the first and the second Avatar movies’ trajectories....

Since its original release in 2009, Avatar has returned to theaters and aired on select cable channels many times, but it’s coming to broadcast TV for the first time ever this weekend. According to Collider, James Cameron’s science fiction epic will air on ABC on Sunday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m., Eastern Time. Of course, audiences with a Disney+ subscription or a DVD of the movie can see Avatar at any time, but for those without either, now is their chance to recap the events of the first film before the sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water, hits theaters on Dec....

Following the news that Babylon 5 is expected to make a comeback in a reboot of the series to be written by original series creator J. Michael Straczynski, the man himself took to his Twitter account to explain where the series currently is and what fans can expect from what will be a brand new era for the sci-fi series. While fans have been calling for a sequel to the series for decades, the writer said that, although the show has not yet been confirmed by the network, he has a new story, is deep into writing the pilot and has a lot of people on his side to get the show back on screens again....

Japanese director Hirokazu Kore-eda has risen to prominence in recent years, especially with the release of his movie Shoplifters. The director began working in the 1990s, pursuing a career that began with a childhood fascination with the movies and how they made him feel. Typically, the sci-fi genre is a very male-dominated section of the film industry; with the genre predominantly being aimed towards a more male audience and with the majority of the movies being directed by men. While this may be true, it is however, the women directors that have delivered some of the best and most influential sci-fi films of all time. The likes of The Matrix and Wonder Woman have changed the sci-fi genre forever, by not just delivering spectacular, thought-provoking masterpieces, but finally destroying the gender stereotypes set on the genre....

We will see how the story of Saul Goodman (aka Jimmy, aka Gene) comes to an end in the final episodes of Better Call Saul. In previous seasons, there have been black-and-white flash-forward scenes revealing what Saul has been up to since going on the lam with a new identity after the events of Breaking Bad. The former attorney now serves as the manager of a Cinnabon in Omaha, and when we last saw him, Saul had been recognized by a strange man and decided to fix the problem himself rather than go back on the run....

Hang on to your hormones. Big Mouth is coming for a third time! Netflix has renewed the 10 episode animated series for season three and promises the pains of puberty are far from over! Big Mouth is a 10-episode, half-hour edgy adult animated comedy from real-life best friends Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg about the glorious nightmare that is teenage puberty. Comedian John Mulaney lends his voice to the character of Andrew, while Kroll (who serves as co-creator, executive producer) voices many including best friend Nick....

The first trailer has arrived for the upcoming indie comedy Blacktino, which will have its world premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival on March 21, at the Paramount Theater in Austin, TX. Academy Award-nominated actor Bob Hoskins will join Rhona Mitra for writer/director Neil Marshall in Rogue Pictures’ action thriller Doomsday, which begins production February 9th in South Africa and the U.K. Rogue co-presidents Andrew Karpen and Andrew Rona made the announcement. Crystal Sky Pictures’ Steven Paul and Benedict Carver are producing Doomsday for Rogue in association with Intrepid Pictures. Intrepid principals Trevor Macy and Marc D. Evans are executive-producing Doomsday with Peter McAleese....

The Good The Bad Zana Briski did not go to the red light district to become a hero or be seen as a saint. She went to tell the story of what life is like in the Brothels, and along the way was inspired to teach the children of the prostitutes photography when they were excited by her camera. However, the story doesn’t just end there. She, and her directing partner Ross Kauffman, became so inspired by the pictures the children took, that they started a fund whereby the kids sell their pictures to fund not only their education, but hopefully their evacuation from the a place that really holds no future for them....
