A few concept art photos have surfaced from what would have been director Patrick Lussier and writer Todd Farmer’s remake of Hellraiser, which seems to be dead. Take a look at the concept art photos below, and read on for more information on the killed project. We haven’t heard much on this Hellraiser remake for quite some time, and it turns out there is a good reason for that. Screenwriter Todd Farmer revealed that he and director Patrick Lussier couldn’t see eye to eye with the studio on this project....

Auditions for National Bingo Night will begin Saturday, March 24 in Denver, Colorado and Nashville, Tennessee, and in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday, March 31. In the new one-hour interactive series, three games of fast-paced, high stakes Bingo are played each night with the viewing public invited to join along. Peter Boyle, the actor who played the comically grouchy father on Everybody Loves Raymond, has died at the age of 71, according to The Associated Press. Boyle died Tuesday evening at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He had been suffering from multiple myeloma and heart disease, said his publicist, Jennifer Plante. Briefly typecast in tough, irate roles, Boyle began to escape the image as Robert Redford’s campaign manager in The Candidate and left it behind entirely after Young Frankenstein, Mel Brooks’ 1974 send-up of horror films....

One of the USA Network’s biggest hits will have some high-caliber guest stars for its upcoming third season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Allison Janney will guest star on In Plain Sight’s third season. Janney will play a newly-minted U.S. Marshall who doesn’t see eye to eye with Mary (Mary McCormack). This just adds to Janney’s growing workload, as she signed on for a recurring role in the Showtime pilot Shameless, which stars William H....

Step Up star Jenna Dewan-Tatum has landed a pivotal role in Season 2 of American Horror Story, which is currently in production. It isn’t known how many episodes she will appear in at this time. The actress will play the other half of “The Lovers,” alongside The Voice judge and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine. Little is known about the couple, except that they play an important role in this season’s story line....

For the first time in American Idol history, an auditioner in Dallas went into labor while waiting with 13,500 hopefuls for her chance to become the next singing superstar. On Monday, nine-months-pregnant Antoria Gillon arrived at Texas Stadium with hopes of becoming the next American Idol. However, as the time of her audition approached, she realized she was in labor. Determined not to miss her shot at fame, Gillon sang her best while in the midst of contractions....

The next Disney+ Star Wars series, Andor, will tell an original story about the titular Rogue One character, Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), a thief turned rebel spy. Andor is billed as a spy thriller, a first for a live-action Star Wars show, and will take inspiration from one of the best thrillers of the century, the Bourne series. Andor isn’t like other Star Wars series. It is more grounded, features original characters, and deals with spies, espionage, and politics....

On Monday, the Tony Awards Administration Committee announced that Broadway legend, Angela Lansbury, will receive the 2022 Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre. With a career in the entertainment industry spanning over 80 years, Dame Angela Brigid Lansbury will be honored for her works at the 75th Annual Tony Awards on June 12, 2022. Lansbury is one of the last stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood cinema and oldest surviving Academy Award nominee....

The iconic Hollywood actress has struck a deal with Fremantle to produce a number of films, TV Series, and documentaries. Angelina Jolie’s three-year international agreement has given the actress the greenlight to produce, direct or star in each on a case-by-case basis as she seeks to tell stories that are sophisticated, powerful, and internationally focused, including local language projects. The first project from Jolie’s deal looks to be an adaptation of Alessandro Baricco’s international bestseller Without Blood which Jolie is set to produce and direct in Italy....

Gremlins is a 1984 comedy-horror set at Christmas time. It tells the story of an entrepreneurial salesman (Randall Peltzer) that visits Chinatown to find a unique gift for his son Billy (Zach Galligan). On his outing, he finds a strange creature called Mogwai, however, the shopkeeper is reluctant to sell it to him. The shopkeeper’s grandson eventually sells the Mogwai to Peltzer on the condition that he never exposes him to bright light or water, and never feeds him after midnight....

BET Networks has greenlighted its first animated series, giving a six-episode order to a project from Vin Diesel that centers on the legendary military leader Hannibal of Carthage. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network said Friday that Hannibal the Conqueror will be the first project from BET Animation – the unit announced in January – which has joined with Diesel’s One Race Prods. to produce the show. The half-hour series will span the life of Hannibal, from his tutelage as a warrior under his father, the King of Carthage, to his invasions of Spain and England and his scaling of the Alps with his army of elephants....

Buena Vista Home Entertainment is pushing the Blu-ray envelope in 2007. A Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot was announced last week at San Diego Comic-Con. Monica Owusu-Breen is set to run the new series and show creator Joss Whedon is back to produce, which was met with general excitement and then a healthy dose of skepticism. While not much is known about the reboot, it will star a woman of color in the new slayer role, which didn’t sit well with some fans of the original series who would rather it not get the reboot treatment at all....

The Xenomorphs may soon be back on the big screen amid new reports of the next Alien movie moving forward with a lead star in place. Per Deadline, another feature film is in the planning stages for the Alien franchise from 20th Century and Scott Free. As previously reported, Fede Alvarez (Evil Dead reboot, Don’t Breathe) is on board to direct the film, while the new report reveals that Cailee Spaeny (The Craft: Legacy) is in talks for the starring role....

For many fans, it’s hard to believe that it has now been two full years since beloved actor Chadwick Boseman passed away. On Aug. 28, 2020, it was announced that Boseman had died after a private battle with colon cancer. The actor had been diagnosed with the disease back in 2016 but chose to keep his condition private, continuing to act in movies with plans to appear in the Black Panther sequel....
