A publicist for Anne Heche told Yahoo Entertainment in a statement late Thursday that the Hung star is “not expected to survive” after suffering brain damage during a car accident. A statement on behalf of Heche’s family reads: The family thanked friends and fans “for their kind wishes and prayers” as well as the dedicated staff and wonderful nurses that cared for Anne at the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital....

Starz has released the first trailer for Ash Vs. Evil Dead Season 3 on Halloween, which is fitting since the series debuted exactly two years ago today on the cable network. Fans got their first look at Ash’s daughter, Brandy Barr (Arielle Carver-O’Neill) in new photos released earlier this month, but this trailer gives us our first footage with Ash’s daughter, who isn’t exactly thrilled to find out that this “chainsaw geek” is her old man....

Kathy Franklin has been named President of Franchise Development at Lightstorm Entertainment. Announced by James Cameron and Jon Landau, the hire signifies Lightstorm’s commitment, in collaboration with Twentieth Century Fox, to building the franchise and brand of Avatar beyond the traditional licensing and merchandising avenues.
