Charles Manson’s story will be told in an upcoming docuseries. Helter Skelter will provide a comprehensive look at Manson and his followers over the course of six episodes. The announcement comes a little over past the 50-year anniversary of Sharon Tate, Jay Sebring, Abigail Folger, Wojtek Frykowski, and Steven Parent’s murders at the hands of the Manson family. Quentin Tarantino released Once Upon a Time in Hollywood over the summer, which took a different take on the Tate murders as a part of its storyline....

The husband and wife play brother and sister in the Will Ferrell comedy They’re married in real life, but in Blades of Glory, Amy Poehler and Will Arnett are brother and sister. They play the ice skating pair, Stranz and Fairchild Van Waldenberg - the rivals of the newly formed team of former rivals Will Ferrell and Jon Heder. In kind of a weird way, the two comedians give sibling love a whole new meaning - in an Angelina Jolie and James Voight style....

A jury has been selected in Harvey Weinstein’s rape trial following almost two weeks of screening and juror questioning, Variety reports. The disgraced film producer and convicted sex offender, 70, will stand trial in Los Angeles starting Monday on 11 charges, all relating to incidents with five women that allegedly occurred between 2004 and 2013. The chosen jury consists of nine men and three women, with many jurors admitting they were ambivalent or had no opinion about the #MeToo movement—which was largely sparked by 2017 allegations against Weinstein....

ABC has announced that the new drama series October Road will premiere THURSDAY, MARCH 15 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET), on the Network. Men in Trees will return in this timeslot following an initial run of the new series. In addition, Six Degrees will return with original episodes in a new time slot, Fridays at 9:01 p.m., as of FRIDAY, MARCH 23. Adam Sandler returned to Saturday Night Live as the host of the show on Saturday night, and used the occasion to live-perform his tribute song for the late Chris Farley. Along with other notable comedians like David Spade, Phil Hartman, Chris Rock, and Rob Schneider, Sandler and Farley helped make SNL must-see television during their runs in the 1990s. Since achieving immense success in Hollywood following his SNL departure, Saturday night’s return to the show marked Sandler’s first time back as the host....

It seems that moviegoers can’t get enough of the magical world of Pandora at the box office these days. Box Office Mojo is reporting that James Cameron’s Avatar has taken in an astonishing $19.4 million on Monday, its 11th day in theatrical release. The site is also reporting that the figure is the second-highest non-holiday Monday gross, behind The Dark Knight’s $24.4 million last summer. Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel took second place on Monday with just over $12 million and Sherlock Holmes came in third on Monday with $11....

A horrible death happened. But there’s no need to mourn. Because the deliciously dark Bad Sisters, developed by Sharon Horgan, Dave Finkel, and Brett Baer, has officially been renewed for a second season. Originally titled Emerald, the Irish black comedy set in picturesque Dublin is based on a Flemish series called Clan, created by Malin-Sarah Gozin. Bad Sisters first aired on Apple TV+ on August 19, 2022, and was officially renewed on November 8, 2022, due to the overwhelming response to the first season....

Rumblings have been going around that the dispute between Edward Norton and Marvel Studios is keeping the actor from working to promote The Incredible Hulk. Norton and director Louis Leterrier were arguing for a longer, more detailed film while Marvel Studios wanted a faster-paced one. What normally would have been a private creative dispute has become a public matter, according to Entertainment Weekly and as such, Norton hasn’t been working to promote the film....
