Amanda Peet, Oliver Platt and Rebecca Hall have joined Nicole Holofcener’s new dramatic comedy, with Sony Pictures Classics set to produce. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Holofcener wrote and will direct the untitled project, described as a tale of family, death and real estate. The story revolves around a woman and her husband (Platt) who live next door to an elderly woman whose New York apartment the couple owns. The cast of Renfield continues to grow as it’s now been reported that Awkwafina has just boarded the project in a main role. This reveal follows the news that Nicolas Cage had been cast to play Dracula in the movie alongside Nicholas Hoult as the titular henchman. Reportedly, Awkwafina will play a character who teams up with Renfield to take on the vampire king.
