Actor Brendan Fraser has revealed what it’s like to reunite with Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio on director Martin Scorsese’s upcoming Western crime drama, Killers of the Flower Moon. Speaking with GQ, Fraser revealed what DiCaprio said to him when the pair came face-to-face once again after all these years, with Killers of the Flower Moon marking the first time that they had seen each other since DiCaprio was “17, 16 maybe” and starring in the powerful 1993 drama What’s Eating Gilbert Grape....

Bruce Campbell has appeared in so many Sam Raimi movies that if the legendary Evil Dead star doesn’t make a cameo, many fans question whether it was really a Sam Raimi movie. Contrary to earlier rumors, it seems that when The First Avenger: Captain America hits the screen, the Star-Spangled Avenger will not be played by Matthew McConaughey. Our friends at IESB.net spoke to Marvel Entertainment executive Kevin Feige, who also confirmed that the film will be a period piece, set during World War II. A new documentary series about the story of Anne Frank is coming to Disney+. A Small Light will tell the story of the people who managed to keep the Frank family hidden away for more than two years, as well as preserve Anne’s diary. This news comes from Deadline. A Small Light tells the story of Miep Gies, whose story is chronicled at AnneFrank.org. Gies was initially an employee under father Otto Frank, who had just moved his company from Germany to the Netherlands to hopefully escape Nazi persecution....

In a story from The Digital Bits, the Mouse House just announced that on November 21 Alias: The Complete Collection - Seasons 1-5 will be coming to DVD. Expected in the set are the five seasons that comprised the show, and that will include all of the supplemental features that came on those original DVD releases. This set will also offer a “hidden bonus disc that includes 6 new featurettes: ‘Head of Security’ (an interview with Abrams and Jennifer Garner’s first interview after being given the role of Sydney Bristow), ‘Case Closed’ (the final on-set cast reunion during the show’s last week of filming), ‘Identity Theft’ (Sydney’s best disguises), ‘Secret Agents’ (a tribute to the fans), ‘Dossier 47’ (on the show’s infamous number) and the ‘Alias in Overdrive’ action montage....

Johnny Depp’s legal battle with ex-wife Amber Heard is not completely over just yet. After the former couple’s defamation trial concluded with a jury siding heavily in Depp’s favor, Heard’s lawyers stated their intentions to file an appeal. Before the filing, Heard had first sought to have the verdict tossed or for a retrial to be granted after alleging that one of the jurors had been fraudulent. The judge disagreed, arguing that there was no legal merit for a retrial and that the verdict stands....

A Golden-Globe nominated young star has just landed a new dramatic film project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Up In the Air’s Anna Kendrick has landed a role in Mandate Pictures’ untitled cancer film that is moving forward once again. The project was stalled in November when director Nicole Holofcener left the film and now The Wackness director Jonathan Levine has come on board to direct the film. Seth Rogen and James McAvoy were already attached to the film, which revolves around McAvoy’s character, a 25-year-old who discovers he has been stricken with cancer....

Producers Ron Howard and Brian Grazer are teaming up with Reliance Big Entertainment, Roberto Orci, and Alex Kurtzman to bring the Anne Rice novel The Tale of the Body Thief to the silver screen. The story centers on the vampire Lestat, who was portrayed by Tom Cruise in Interview with the Vampire, and by Stuart Townsend in Queen Of The Damned. Lestat, who has grown depressed after centuries as a vampire, decides to transfer souls with a psychic for one day....

Funimation Entertainment is proud to announce its acquisition of “Attack on Titan” Season 2 and the return of the worldwide hit anime series which was first introduced to U.S. and Canadian audiences in 2013.
