Many news outlets are now reporting a story which first appeared on the tabloid website, TMZ, that actress Brittany Murphy passed away early this morning after going into full cardiac arrest. It only took two episodes to prove that the American Gladiators were indeed back. NBC has announced that it has picked up a second season of American Gladiators. The show’s premiere episode garnered the second highest rating for a new midseason show, with only Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and NBC’s highest-rated premiere episode since Heroes premeired in 2006. “‘American Gladiators’ has delivered everything we were hoping for and has come out of the gate as a top contender,” said Craig Plestis, Executive Vice President, Alternative Programming, Development and Specials, NBC Entertainment....

The next new episode of The Angry Video Game Nerd web series will finally depict the character’s arch-nemesis Fred Fcks, and movie actor Gilbert Gottfried will be playing the part. In a new photo posted to Twitter of Gottfried and James “Angry Video Game Nerd” Rolfe together, the caption confirms the actor will be the one bringing the unseen “character” to life. The “Fred Fcks” name comes from film and TV producer Fred Fuchs, whose name Rolfe has previously chastised in an episode lampooning the Nightmare on Elm Street video game....
