Hollywood has sadly lost yet another incredibly creative talent. Per a release from The Hollywood Reporter, longtime film editor Mike Hill has passed away at the age of 73. According to his family, he suffered from a case of cryptogenic organizing pneumonia, a rare lung condition, and caved to the illness at his home in Omaha, Nebraska. Fox has given a put pilot commitment to Blue Blood, a cop drama created by screenwriter Neil Tolkin that Brett Ratner is attached to executive produce and possibly direct, according to Variety. Carl Franklin has been set to write and direct an adaptation of the Rudolfo Anaya novel Bless Me, Ultima. According to Variety, the film is being financed and exec produced Wal-Mart heiress Christy Walton. When people think about movies of the ’90s, they might think of Titanic, Braveheart, Forrest Gump, or other Oscar-winning films. Life Goes On is coming back with a sequel, and it’s heading to NBC, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The sequel series will reportedly bring back actress Kellie Martin aka Becca Thatcher. The pilot is from Nkechi Okoro Carroll and is described as a sequel to the original show, which debuted in 1989 and ran for four seasons. Kellie Martin is set to return as a well-accomplished doctor and decides to return to her hometown after all these years....
