We almost could have seen an Oscar nominee getting involved with the shenanigans of Jackass Forever. Recently, Jackass franchise star and co-creator Johnny Knoxville appeared on The Howard Stern Show to help promote the release of the new sequel. During the conversation, Knoxville revealed that Nebraska star Bruce Dern had reached out hoping to land a cameo in the movie. While the Jackass team would have obliged, they were almost wrapped with filming by that point, leaving no opportunity to work Dern in....

Just when fans think they’ve seen the last of Bryan Cranston in his Breaking Bad role as Walter White, the almighty Heisenberg always finds new ways to return to the spotlight. For five seasons of Breaking Bad, Cranston played the part to perfection, garnering several Emmy Awards by the time the series ended in 2013. Despite the show’s conclusive ending for the character, Cranston has since continued to make special appearances as Heisenberg, and he’ll soon be back on television in the role once again....

Directed & Produced by Ollie Aslin & Gary Lennon, Castro’s Spies is an upcoming documentary about the true-life espionage story of an elite group of five Cuban spies who were sent undercover into the United States in the 1990s. The documentary contains several never-before-seen footage, as well as exclusive in-depth interviews with the real-life members of the Cuban Five. Produced by Eagle Hill Films and Gambit Pictures, the upcoming film is currently set to be released next month....

The Hollywood Reporter says it’s time to get ready for the $35 movie ticket. That’s the estimated price of tickets for a new deluxe cinema to open this year in suburban Chicago, one of 50 U.S. multiplexes set for construction during the next five years through a new $200 million joint venture headed by Australian entertainment conglomerate Village Roadshow. The planned theaters will boast boosted amenities, including plush reserved seating, special parking privileges and upscale food and beverage offerings with seat-side waiter service....

At the Adult Swim Upfront in New York , the late-night network announced its new slate of programming for 2007, as well as the addition of a seventh night beginning on Friday, July 6, at 11:00 p.m. Coming off a banner first quarter, in which the network posted the highest quarterly total day delivery (Adults 18-34) in basic cable history, Adult Swim presented three new series – Superjail, Fat Guy Stuck In Internet, and the previously announced Lucy, the Daughter of the Devil – as well as a special Star Wars-themed episode of the popular Robot Chicken series....

Image Entertainment has released the first trailer for Airborne, director Dominic Burns’ intense thriller debuting on VOD platforms September 14 before arriving on DVD October 16. Mark Hamill stars as an air traffic controller who sends out an aircraft just before an approaching storm. He comes to learn that a deadly force has taken over the plane, as he tries to guide it to safety. Make sure your seat belt is buckled, and your tray tables are in their locked position before watching this new footage from the upcoming thrill ride....

Alex Trebek’s final episodes hosting Jeopardy! will air this week, culminating with a special tribute to the longtime host. Scheduled to air from Monday, Jan. 4 through Friday, Jan. 8, the last five episodes to feature Trebek were filmed in November. Despite the complications of his stage 4 pancreatic cancer and the side effects of its treatments, Trebek had insisted on hosting the show for as long as possible, ultimately dying just ten days after wrapping his final batch of episodes....

A week ago today, we debuted the first trailer for Dimension Films’ found-footage thriller Apollo 18, which hits theaters on April 22. The movie is supposedly comprised of found footage taken from the Apollo 18 moon mission, which never officially existed. However, many believe the mission did take place. Dimension Films president Bob Weinstein recently spoke about the project, insisting that the footage shown in Apollo 18 is actually real....

We are still several months away from seeing Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell’s Christmas musical movie Spirited arrive on Apple TV+, but the streamer has been sharing some new images from the film as part of a preview of their upcoming slate of films and shows, which include Zac Efron’s The Greatest Beer Run Ever and the Henry Cavill thriller Argylle. Spirited is a new take on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, one of the most adapted festive stories ever, and what Reynolds and Ferrell, with the help of Octavia Spencer and Sunita Mani, can do with the IP....

Paul’s Brain Trust has put together a benefit screening of Blade Runner as a fundraiser for DVD producer Paul Prischman, who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer. The screening will take place on Saturday, June 14 at 2 PM PT on the Warner Bros....

It now looks like we can expect to see the battle between the Aliens and the Predators continue in a third film. An anonymous source at 20th Century Fox spoke to Shock Till You Drop.com to reveal that another film in the Alien vs. Predator franchise is a “certainty”. The Strause brothers, who directed Aliens vs. Predator - Requiem, had originally stated that Fox intended to take a “wait-and-see” approach to deciding if a third film would happen....

Although Robin has been a prominent fixture in the Batman comic books since his introduction in 1940, appearing in numerous forms as the character aged and was replaced with the mantle being passed on to a successor, his last appearance in a Batman movie was in the ill-fated Batman & Robin, and considering how badly that movie was received it is not surprising that he did not feature in Chris Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy, and has not appeared in the DCEU other than as a tattered costume in Batman V Superman, suggesting the character’s death had already happened before the time of the movie....

The Batwoman TV series could be filming in spring 2019, according to a new report. The CW made a pretty big splash recently by announcing that the DC Comics character would be making her live-action debut during this year’s Arrowverse crossover event. Not long after, news broke that the character would be getting her own series, which is currently being developed by the network. Now we have word as to when the series may go in front of cameras, which also clues us in as to when we might see this thing make it to air....

The first trailer has been unleashed for the Sundance sensation Bellflower, which is slated for release sometime next summer.
