With the recent release of Thor: Love and Thunder seemingly doubling down on the comedy factor, we decided to take a look back at some of the funniest superhero movies of the 21st Century. While the exact origins of the idea of superheroes is widely debated, its known that, in the USA, they became particularly popular from the 1930s onwards with the advent of comic books. The year’s 28th Golden Raspberry Awards have been announced and Lindsay Lohan’s I Know Who Killed Me took home eight Razzie awards. NBC has renewed three more of its Thursday-night comedies - 30 Rock (9:30-10 p.m. ET), The Office (9-9:30 p.m. ET) and the freshman series Community (8-8:30 p.m. ET) for the 2010-11 season. The returning programs join the previously announced Parks and Recreation (Thursdays, 8:30-9 p.m. ET) that also will return for next season. The announcement was made by Angela Bromstad, President, Primetime Entertainment, NBC and Universal Media Studios. “We are happy to give these early pickups to these critically acclaimed, incredibly funny comedies,” said Bromstad....

A timeless Christmas film is coming back to DVD in a very big way this November. A Christmas Story is coming back to DVD for the film’s 25th anniversary on November 4. This movie will be re-released in several different formats. The two-disc 25th Annversary Collectors Edition will be priced at $26.99 SRP and the Blu-Ray edition will run for $28.99 SRP. The film will also be available in an Ultimate Collectors Edition and will come with five collectable cookie cutters, a 48-page cookbook, photos and quotes and an apron....

Amid renewed discussion over intimacy coordinators on movie and TV sets following controversial comments made by actor Sean Bean, The Dropout star Amanda Seyfried is reflecting on the pressure she felt as a teenage actress to film intimate scenes. “Being 19, walking around without my underwear on—like, are you kidding me? How did I let that happen?” The now 36-year-old Seyfried told Porter in a recent interview, recalling how she feared losing her job if she didn’t comply....

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has officially been rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) for “violence/action, and language.” The film, directed by Peyton Reed, is set to hit theaters on Feb. 17 and will kick off Phase 5 of the MCU. Emilia Clarke is most often recognized for her role as Daenerys Targaryen, the Mother of Dragons, in Game of Thrones. The actress spent eight seasons with the show, becoming one of the most recognizable characters in television history. Her attitude changes when she learns that the teacher of the year gets a sizable bonus; which she could spend on a boob job and win another rich husband....

Writer/director Kenneth Branagh has recruited an incredible ensemble cast to bring the story of his family’s decision to flee Ireland as the Troubles began to erupt in in the late 60s. Belfast captures the tumultuous time where violence replaced the idyllic streets of Northern Ireland where Branagh was raised. During lockdown the the Oscar-nominated actor, writer and director decided it was time to share his story. The Belfast movie’s Instagram also shared a teaser a few days ago....

It seems that Benecio del Toro might be playing an acclaimed American author on the silver screen. According to MTV Movies Blog, Benecio del Toro seems to be in line to portray author Bret Easton Ellis in an adaptation of his novel, Lunar Park. A Beverly Hills, 90210 revival series is on the way featuring members of the original cast. Tori Spelling first teased the idea back at the beginning of this year, but at that time, it was believed that Spelling and former co-star Jennie Garth were reuniting for a series where they would be playing “exaggerated versions of themselves.” However, things seem to have changed pretty drastically in the last several months as the cast was recently spotted leaving a writing meeting and the secret is out about the revival series....
