Aidan Quinn, Penelope Ann Miller, John Mahoney, Anthony Edwards, Rebecca De Mornay and Kevin Weisman have signed on for East of Doheny’s adaptation of Flipped, directed by Rob Reiner. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the feature is an adaptation of Wendelin Van Draanen’s young-adult novel. The book, published in 2001 by Knopf, revolves around the confusing romantic developments of antagonistic boy and girl neighbors who eventually share a kiss when they reach their teens....

As stated by The Hollywood Reporter, back in November 2021, former General Hospital star Ingo Rademacher was fired after he refused to comply with ABC’s vaccine mandate. Then in December 2021, the actor sued the network. In his lawsuit, Rademacher alleged that ABC had committed religious and disability discrimination, an invasion of privacy, and political retaliation. Now, the network is asking a Los Angeles judge to toss out the actor’s lawsuit over his firing from General Hospital....

Jerusalem’s Lot will be the next Stephen King tale to be adapted for the small screen, as Adrian Brody will lead a TV series based on the short story for Epix. Set to consist of ten episodes, the show has been given a straight-to-series order from the network and will start filming in May in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Screenwriting brothers Jason and Peter Filardi are also on board as showrunners, and the project will be executive produced by Donald De Line (Wayward Pines)....

Alone in the Dark is going to be alone longer! In a story from Bloody Disgusting, it seems they spoke with director Uwe Boll or something because the newer version of Alone in the Dark will actually contain 8 more minutes of unseen footage. As Puss in Boots: The Last Wish makes its debut in theaters, longtime fans are ready for some big surprises. Fans have patiently waited for more animated content from the Avatar: The Last Airbender team for years. While James Cameron’s new epic Avatar went on a box-office tear over the holidays, it seems the film is still holding up now that the new year is in full swing. Box Office Mojo is reporting that Avatar took in a solid $8.1 million on Monday. The numbers are a significant drop from the incredible $15 million-plus daily tallies it was raking in, down more than half of the $17.1 million the film took in on Sunday, but it was still the top draw in theaters by more than $5 million....
