Netflix made the announcement everyone knew was coming yesterday, when they officially issued a renewal for Stranger Things Season 2. Series creators Ross Duffer and Matt Duffer also revealed a number of episode titles including the Season 2 premiere dubbed MadMax, which we have now learned is a direct connection to one of the new characters named Max. Max is reportedly one of three new major characters who will be coming to Hawkins, Indiana in the hit series....

The 30 Rock gang is finally getting back together, albeit in an unconventional way. NBC has announced that the cast of the beloved sitcom is reuniting for an hour-long reunion special. The remotely-produced event will feature Tina Fey as Liz Lemon, alongside many of her castmates, in what will double as an upfront presentation previewing the network’s upcoming lineup of programming. Actor Aaron Eckhart has joined the cast of The Drummer for Unclaimed Freight Productions and director Randall Miller. Jody Savin will write the biopic, which centers on The Beach Boys drummer Dennis Wilson. The movie will focus on the last six years of his life before he died in 1983. Kick-Ass star Aaron Johnson is in talks for two high profile roles: to play a male lead in Savages, the Oliver Stone-directed drama, and the romantic lead role alongside Keira Knightley in Anna Karenina. Savages centers on two best friend pot growers who share a gorgeous lady and a huge problem: their pot is so good that a Mexican drug cartel has kidnapped their gal and will kill her if the growers don’t go to work for the cartel....

One year after the tragic accident that took her life, many are paying tribute to cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. On Oct. 21, 2021, Hutchins had been in New Mexico working on Joel Souza’s Western movie Rust. While preparing for a scene, a live round was discharged from a prop gun held by Alec Baldwin that injured Souza and killed Hutchins. Production was halted and a criminal investigation was launched, though production on the film will resume in January with the blessing of Hutchins’ family....

Actor Willie Garson’s character Stanford Blatch made his final appearance on the HBO series And Just Like That… and the series addressed the actor’s passing in its latest episode. Willie Garson died of complications related to pancreatic cancer on September 21, leaving a legacy of admired works and a void for fans and loved ones worldwide. The actor was currently filming the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That…, completing three episodes....

The Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard legal battle has reignited the popular petition to have the latter removed from Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. As of now, Depp and Heard have been settling their differences in the courtroom after each movie star accused the other of domestic violence and physical abuse when they were married. Depp is suing Heard for $50 for defamation, with Heard countersuing for $100 million, arguing that he’s the one defaming her by claiming she abused him....
