Netflix has released two new photos of Alice Eve as Typhoid Mary from Iron Fist season 2. The streaming service recently released the full-length trailer for the upcoming sophomore season of the Marvel series. While they made a pretty big splash at San Diego Comic-Con by announcing Eve would be portraying Typhoid Mary, she didn’t actually appear in the trailer. That left many wondering if they were going to make us wait until the season drops to catch a glimpse at the villain....

Is it possible that a show set in the Alien universe is being considered? Before digging into this one at all, we have to caution pretty heavily that this is merely a rumor for now. It hasn’t been corroborated by any official sources from Fox or anyone who might potentially be involved. That said, according to a new report, there is at least a possibility that an Alien TV series is on the table and may be in the very early stages of development....

Alvin and the Chipmunks is one of the most recognizable pop culture brands in the world. Every holiday season people will hear their breakout song The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don’t Be Late), and the characters have remained popular with kids for generations due to their appearances in television and film. Created by Ross Bagdasarian Sr., the anthropomorphic chipmunks include the leader and often troublemaker Alvin, older brother and intellect-based Simon, and the youthful youngest brother Theodore....

MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY Fans of Critical Role, fondly referred to as Critters, are excited to see these characters on the screen. Originally, only planned to be a one shot animated special, the Critical Role team took to Kickstarter to fund the project. Critters responded quickly with their wallets, because they wanted to see their favorite heroes on the screen. The initial goal funded within hours, and the Critical Role team kept adding stretch goals and promising more episodes....

The CW has started airing a new promo for an upcoming episode of Arrow entitled The Promise. The video teases the debut of Deathstroke the Terminator (Slade Wilson), who has appeared as a good guy in some of the flashback episodes. We also have a behind-the-scenes featurette, which has producer Marc Guggenheim discussing what it took to put the intense action scenes together. All-powerful blockbuster director James Cameron has teased the unpredictability of his long-awaited sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water. Speaking with IGN, Cameron assured fans (fans who have waited 13 years for an Avatar follow-up) that Avatar: The Way of Water will not simply be another obvious sequel. The filmmaker is in fact so confident that he does not believe that anyone will be able to guess the story’s twists, turns, and revelations....

Fugitives., a wild four-part documentary series that tells the story of Sarma Melngailis, a superstar raw food chef from New York City, New York. Sarma married a shady hustler and went from being known as the queen of vegan cuisine to being a woman on the run until she was eventually busted for ordering a Domino’s pizza....

Benedict Cumberbatch has become one of the lynchpins of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Doctor Strange, but that is not something the actor ever saw happening. Black Adam was not only the introduction of Dwayne Johnson’s titular character but also the first adventure of the Justice Society of America, formed by Noah Centineo’s Atom Smasher, Pierce Brosnan’s Doctor Fate, Quintessa Swindell’s Cyclone and Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman. But, unfortunately, it was the first, and the last time we saw them on screen. At least for a while. After the movie bombed at the box office in the middle of the Warner Discovery crisis, James Gunn and Peter Safran, the new head of DC for any cinematic and television project, decided not to move forward with The Rock’s vision of the character and declared that Black Adam wouldn’t be a part of the plan that they’re developing for the following years....

James Bond star Pierce Brosnan has been discussing his role as Doctor Fate in the upcoming DC outing, Black Adam. In an interview with Games Radar, Brosnan described his superhero character as “the elder” of the Justice Society of America, and likened Doctor Fate’s abilities to “a drug addiction.” The son of an archeologist who has learned sorcery and been given the magical Helmet of Fate, Doctor Fate was created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Howard Sherman and first appeared in the comics all the way back in 1940....

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’s release is quickly approaching. With tickets now on sale and a new trailer dropping, excitement is building. In the two-and-half-minute trailer, the basics of the plot have been laid out in an efficient and direct way. The Wakandans are mourning the loss of their fallen leader T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman). While mourning, our heroes come face-to-face with a new threat, Namor The Sub-Mariner. The disgruntled king of Atlantis goes to war with the Wakandans....

Last April, just days before the Better Call Saul Season 2 finale, a Twitter user seemingly decoded a mystery, unlocked by writing out all of the Season 2 episode titles. When arranged one below the other, the first letter of each episode spelled out “Frings Back,” which many theorized meant that the iconic Breaking Bad villain Gus Fring, played by Giancarlo Esposito, would return in Better Call Saul, which is set long before the events of Breaking Bad unfold....

Re-emerging actor Brendan Fraser has responded to the overwhelming praise and multiple standing ovations that he has so far received for his lead performance in the upcoming drama, The Whale. And, of course, his response is as humble and warm as you would expect. Speaking with Variety, Fraser detailed the emotions he has felt since during the reactions to The Whale, calling the response “affirming.” The Whale premiered at the 79th Venice International Film Festival on September 4, 2022, and has since been shown at several festivals — each one resulting in a standing ovation for Brendan Fraser....
