Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures has attached Barry Sonnenfeld (Men In Black, Get Shorty, Pushing Daisies) to direct and produce the action comedy The How-To Guide for Saving the World, from writer BenDavid Grabinski. Actress Melissa Barrera, who you might recognize from her work in In the Heights and Scream (2022), has produced her first film. Entitled Bed Rest, it’s a recently released horror movie tackling the subject of pregnancy loss. Barrera discussed the film in an interview with Dread Central, who have also provided a complete description of the plot: When asked about what attracted her to the film, Barrera said that it was the opportunity to work with Project X again....

Indie pop act Bleachers is set to replace rapper Roddy Ricch as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live (SNL) this Saturday after the rapper had to drop out due to a COVID exposure. Ricch was set to appear alongside host Ariana Debose. “Due to recent Covid exposure on my team and to keep everyone safe I won’t be able to perform on SNL this weekend. I’m working with the SNL team to lock in a new date though,” Ricch wrote on Instagram....

For every goofy antic and pratfall Binks performed in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, Scott has an exacting moment in Indiana Jones & The Temple Of Doom. They are the same character. Perhaps we haven’t seen the last of Ash Williams just yet. Though 2005’s big screen adaptation of Bewitched was a flop at the box office, CBS is turning to the husband and wife team of Douglas Wick and Lucy Fisher, responsible for the reboot on that film, to bring the franchise back to television. While Roland Emmerich’s new disaster film won’t hit theaters until next weekend, it seems that a TV version is already in play. According to Entertainment Weekly, director Roland Emmerich is working on a TV series based off his film 2012 is already being planned. Here’s what Emmerich told the site at the 2012 premiere last night in Los Angeles. 2012 executive producer Howard Gordon is also an executive producer for TV series’ such as Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice and it was said that Gordon is currently in talks with ABC for this potential series, although the network declined to comment....
