Playing Batman might have seemed like a dream role at first for Ben Affleck when he first took on the role in the DCEU, but by the end of his time filming Justice League, the actor was deadset on never playing the superhero again. It’s going to be a bit of a wait for fans to see how Better Call Saul ends, as the series reaches the midway point of its sixth and final season. The Breaking Bad spinoff will return in July for the second half of season 6, but until then, the wait can be eased with the short-form animated spinoff Slippin’ Jimmy. All six episodes have been released and are now streaming on AMC+....

The cast and creators of Better Call Saul agree with the fans: Rhea Seehorn deserves an Emmy. After impressing critics for five seasons on the Breaking Bad prequel series with her standout role as Kim Wexler, Seehorn has yet to be bestowed with an Emmy nomination, even with some of her co-stars getting that honor. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has provided Marvel Studios with another huge box office hit to end 2022. Although many movies of the last year have landed a streaming debut 45 days after opening in theaters, Marvel movies have not stuck to that same guide. However, the Disney+ arrival of the Black Panther sequel has now been set for 70 days after the movie hit cinemas on November 11. As revealed by The Hollywood Handle, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will join the Disney+ MCU catalog on January 20, 2023....

On April 25th, the UK’s Channel 4 aired Bling Ring: Hollywood Heist, a true-crime docuseries about the gang of Calabasas teens who burgled the homes of Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Bilson, and other stars between 2008 and 2009, activities resulting in the theft of about $3 million in cash and belongings mostly belonging to Hilton, although they targeted about 50 homes. According to RadioTimes.com, which reported on the three-part series, the Channel 4 documentary features interviews with two of the Bling Ring members: Nick Prugo and Alexis Neiers, who now goes by Alexis Haines....

It seems that the BD+ copy protection might be too good for its own good. In a story from DVD Town, it looks like the following Fox Home Entertainment Blu-ray Disc releases are having trouble: The Day After Tomorrow and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. These discs contain the BD+ layer. Basically, “BD+ is an extra layer of copy protection. With it, Sony should be able to change the keys used to unlock it....

CBS announced mid-season premiere dates for the new drama Golden Boy and the Season 7 return of the comedy Rules of Engagement. The Network also announced the premiere dates of the spring editions of Survivor and The Amazing Race and the season finale of CSI: NY. As the halfway point of the season approaches, CBS is once again America’s most-watched network, leading second-place ABC by +2.55 million viewers. The Network has eight of the top 10 scripted series including NCIS, the top drama, and The Big Bang Theory, the #1 comedy in both viewers and adults 18-49....

The first lady of action cinema is back! Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil) makes revenge look sexy in her hot, new thriller .45, debuting on DVD April 24, 2007 from THINKFilm.
