On the heels of AMC announcing it has greenlit The Walking Dead for six episodes, for Season One, AMC announced today it has signed Andrew Lincoln (Teachers) to portray the lead role of Rick Grimes, a small-town police officer who leads a group of survivors of a zombie apocalypse. As previously announced, actor Jon Bernthal (The Pacific, The Ghost Writer) will portray the character Shane, a survivor who was Rick’s police partner before the zombie disaster....

Marvel Studios have released a new retrospect of the history of Ant-Man from Brazil Comic Con. Charting the journey of Paul Rudd’s size-changing hero from his earliest encounter with Hank Pym and the Ant-Man suit to his newest challenge facing Kang the Conqueror, the video highlights Scott Lang’s story ahead of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. While the special look is mostly footage we have seen before, the montage ends with a threat from Kang when he tells Lang, “Your reality, everything you’re holding onto, I know how it ends....

There will be a new spy movie coming soon as Argylle is in the works for Apple TV+. It is going to be directed and produced by Matthew Vaughn. Vaughn is an award-nominated English screenwriter, director, and producer famous for movies like Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Stardust, X-Men First Class, and The Kingsman movie franchise. He co-wrote, directed, and produced the latest 2021’s The Kingsman. The script is being written by Jason Fuchs, who has penned various scripts for movies like Ice Age: Continental Drift, Pan, and Wonder Woman....

Today’s announcement that Warner Bros are delaying the release of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom to March 2023 wasn’t exactly the news fans of Jason Momoa’s Justice League hero wanted to hear today. Along with other movies such as The Flash, Black Adam and Wonka, the Aquaman sequel received a hefty shove down the upcoming release slate as the studio followed Disney in hitting a reset button on their whole schedule in the wake of the Covid pandemic delays....

Sterling Archer isn’t calling it quits just yet. FXX has announced that Archer season 12 is officially a go. The animated comedy recently returned for season 11 and, so it would seem, things are still going quite well for the show more than a decade into its run. As such, the network decided to keep this train on the tracks at least a little bit longer. Archer season 12 is expected to debut sometime in 2021....

Believe it or not, this will mark the first time that the Star Trek icon has guested on the hit CBS series and it’s perfect timing since the show is about to call it a day. Fans have known for a while that Season 12 was going to be the last, but there are many who are not prepared to say goodbye to some of their favorite characters, so thankfully there are a ton of special guests coming on board to help out....

Dwayne Johnson pummels villains and superheroes alike as an ancient god with a killer instinct. Black Adam gives the DCEU a bad-a** with zero moral compunction. He hurls, electrocutes, and literally rips enemies apart without batting an eye. Black Adam is the definition of all stick and no carrot. If only the script kicked as much behind as our anti-hero. A predictable plot with cardboard characters chinks the magical armor. Dazzling action saves the simple narrative; which results in a popcorn cinema spectacle that should delight fans....

Black Mirror is set to return to Netflix with a brand-new season. The anthology series created by Charlie Brooker brought its last new episodes to the streaming platform in 2019. While that season only comprised of three stories, it looks like season 6 will follow a similar route, with each episode being a standalone film. Following a three-year hiatus, Variety reports that casting is now underway on the new season, which means it will still be a little while before the show returns to screens....

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 25 years since Boy Meets World first made its debut on television. France’s first lady and former supermodel, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, has agreed to be in Woody Allen’s next film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bruni-Sarkozy doesn’t know what role Allen has in store for her and admits she could be a terrible actress.
