Charlie Cox has entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor first appeared as Daredevil in the titular Netflix show, which at the time, shared continuity with the MCU. However, after the character’s rights reverted to Marvel Studios, the feeling was introduced in the mainstream timeline through Spider-Man: No Way Home. The character then again appeared recently in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law in a more prominent appearance. Now, Cox is set to play a central role in his Disney+ show, Daredevil: Born Again....

Walker on The CW is a huge hit, and it looks like the Texas sheriff is getting some much-needed assistance. Ashley Reyes (How I Met Your Father, American Gods) has been cast as a lead opposite Jared Padalecki. Reyes, who has joined the cast as a series regular, will first appear in the next episode, “Nudge”, which is set to premiere on March 3rd, 2022. According to Deadline, Reyes is coming in as former main star Lindsay Morgan left the show earlier this season for personal reasons....

ABC has added more hours to the final two seasons of Lost. The recent WGA strike knocked three hours out of the current season, and therefore to partly compensate, the network recently added an additional hour to Part 2 of the season finale that airs May 29. In addition, The Hollywood Reporter stated that the 2009 and 2010 editions of the hit drama will be 17 hours each – not 16 as previously planned....

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Al Lewis, remembered for his wacky and endearing performance as Grandpa Munster on the 1960s sitcom The Munsters, died Friday in New York after several years of failing health. His son Ted said that his father was 82, though he was widely reported to have been 95. With his arched eyebrows, prominent nose and starchy tuxedo, Lewis’ role as a recognizable TV icon never was eclipsed by his work as a basketball scout, restaurateur and political candidate....

Vertical Entertainment released the trailer for its upcoming horror feature, Alone at Night, starring Ashley Benson on Tuesday. Scenes from the trailer felt eerily reminiscent of classic 80s B-horror movies. However, the film retains modernity through its seamless incorporation of social media, influencers, and an OnlyFans-esque platform in the storyline. The film premieres on January 20th, 2023 and will be available in theaters and on demand. The steamy slasher follows Vicky (Benson), a young woman looking for an escape after going through a harrowing breakup....

Netflix has revealed the first teaser and release date for Altered Carbon season 2. The show was renewed for a sophomore season in July 2018, with Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers: Endgame star Anthony Mackie tapped as the new series lead. Updates have been slow coming over the last year and a half, but things will be moving fast now as the sci-fi series is set to return next month....

American Reunion has rounded out its cast, adding newcomer Katrina Bowden of 30 Rock and Piranha 3DD fame. It’s been months since Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi debuted on Disney+, bringing a new tale of the lost Jedi. Two-time Academy Award winner Andrew Stanton wrote the final two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi. These were the most enticing and highly applauded episodes, leading to the epic showdown between Anakin and Obi-Wan on an unknown planet. The part where Anakin’s mask breaks in half and we see this horrifyingly villainous turn of a brutally angry Darth Vader will stay with the fans forever....

Opening on December 29th is the latest film from Vera Drake director Mike Leigh, entitled Another Year. The film stars Oscar winner Jim Broadbent (Moulin Rouge), Lesley Manville, Ruth Sheen, Peter Wight, Oliver Maltman, David Bradley, Karina Fernandez, Martin Savage, Michele Austin and Philip Davis. During a recent chat with MTV, actor Antonio Banderas talked briefly about returning his voice to the character of ‘Puss in Boots’ in the next installment of the Shrek franchise. “Tomorrow I’m going to do my first session of recording for him,” the “Mask of Zorro” star said earlier this week. “The story and the recording of the ‘Shrek’ [films] is very open. We improvise a lot, and many new things come [during] every session, and then they take all of that material and put it together with the animation....

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will not only see the return of Jason Momoa as the titular king of Atlantis, but also, among others, the original movie’s villain, Black Manta. One again played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Black Manta’s role in the sequel to the 2018 hit movie is still mostly a mystery, but thanks to images from this year’s Licensing Expo we have a better look at the new Black Manta costume....

You can bring one of the most beloved horror cult classics home on DVD and Blu-ray in a brand new edition. Army Of Darkness will return to DVD and debut on Blu-ray in a new “Screwhead Edition” on May 19. The new DVD will be priced at $19.98 SRP and the Blu-ray will be priced at $29.98 SRP. The limitlessness of animation has given way to endless possibilities that have dominated the world of television since 1949 when Crusader Rabbit was viewed as a trailblazer for the genre. Throughout the decades, there was a demand that met the popularity of mainstream animation. Syndicated stations quickly tackled the trend of animation being produced for cable and contributed to the ceaseless distribution of cartoons.
