Korean dramas and telenovelas have become some of the most popular genres abroad from their native countries, but Turkish, Indian, and other East Asian dramas are having their time in the spotlight, too....

The hit NBC sitcom Friends has endured as a time-honored favorite, 12 years after it went off the air. The show made headlines earlier this year when stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer came back together for a Friends reunion, as part of an NBC TV special honoring the work of TV director James Burrows. While it remains to be seen when the next reunion will happen, a new trivia tidbit has been released that may surprise even die-hard fans....

Andre Benjamin, Woody Harrelson, Ray Liotta, and Martin Henderson are set to star in the drama, Battle In Seattle. They’re joining Charlize Theron in the film written by her boyfriend, Stuart Townsend, who will also make his directorial debut. The documentary-style film will focus on a dozen characters swept up in the protests, which brought the World Trade Organisation’s meeting to a halt. Production Weekly adds between 40,000 and 60,000 people protested against the WTO’s Third Ministerial on November 30, 1999....

Comedian and actor Andy Dick is in custody after his latest arrest, and the entire incident was captured on video. Per TMZ, Dick was arrested on charges of felony sexual battery after an adult male accused him of sexual assault at the O’Neill Regional Park. The incident was recorded and livestreamed on Captain Content’s RV live stream on Wednesday, and the video has been rapidly spreading throughout social media since. You can watch the clip below....

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania director Peyton Reed has revealed further details regarding Jonathan Majors’ debut as the villainous Kang the Conqueror. Speaking with Empire, Reed teased the differences between Majors’ previous Marvel character, Loki’s He Who Remains, and Kang, who the filmmaker describes as “an all-timer antagonist.” So, while He Who Remains was presented as having an animated, over-eager energy (no doubt thanks in large part to losing his mind after being on his own for so long and trying to keep the multiverse in check), his variant, Kang, will be completely different....

They’re returning to the stars. According to the astronomy site Universe Today, the ashes of four special people are gearing up for space travel. These are the ashes of Nichelle Nichols, James Doohan, Majel Barret Roddenberry, and Gene Roddenberry. What makes these names so special? They’re none other than Lt. Uhura, Scotty, Nurse Chapel, and the creator of the landmark science fiction television series, Star Trek. The ashes of the special effects artist and film director, Douglas Trumbull, will also be joining the crew....

Avatar star Stephen Lang has been sharing his feelings towards the long, long awaited sci-fi sequel, with the actor confident that audiences will be both “enchanted” and “fascinated” with what director James Cameron has in store. Lang, who recently revealed that he is finished filming on not only Avatar 2 but Avatar 3 as well, is clearly more excited than anyone for fans to return to the world of Pandora....

Bridesmaids actress Rebel Wilson has joined the cast of the indie comedy Bachelorette and the Universal Pictures project Pitch Perfect. Rebel Wilson will replace Casey Wilson in Bachelorette, since the actress had to pull out due to scheduling conflicts with her ABC series Happy Endings. The story centers on three best friends (Lizzy Caplan, Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher) who are invited to be bridesmaids for a woman they called “Pigface” in high school (Rebel Wilson)....
